Next time you're out on the course in Bryan, take note of the new course map with positions of all the newly-marked, more visible tees. Also, tee positions have been slightly relocated to allow the soil to recover. Many of the tees were in rough shape, and this will improve player safety and overall course condition.

I love this park and come down from Jackson Michigan often on the weekends and would love for someone to hit me up for what the plans are for things in 2020

To clarify: yes, I am crazy enough to try to run the doubles league round this evening in this kind of wind. Please, be there in plenty of time so we can start playing at 6:15 PM.
Benjamin Wonders April 21, 2015 at 6:21am
If you're coming to Tuesday doubles this week, bring your wind fighting discs and a couple rocks for your pockets. It's going to be a bit blustery, but we will be playing at 6:15 PM.

Hey guys, some of you may already know that I'm trying to get a club established in Defiance. We're calling the club the Reservoir Dogs. In no way will this diminish my dedication to the Fountain City Flyerz. I do believe I'll be ordering twenty bag tag and shirt packs from Paragon. The "Dog Tag Challenge" will be played using unique games. Check the games and rules out on our page. http://www.discgolfscene.com/clubs/Reservoir_Dogs .
The packs will cost $18. You wi ...

I mentioned this Sunday during our club meeting, but I'd like to ask again for it here, so that those who weren't able to attend can weigh in. I would like to see the club design a Fountain City Flyerz news letter or flier. That way all members could carry them in their bags for when they meet new players on the course. We could also laminate a copy to hang on the course map. It should have the clubs web addresses, league schedules, contact information, tournament dates, and any o ... more
nik and i talked abour installing a plastic cover for the back of the board so fliers and things can be posted and not be ruined

Does anyone have any serious objection to doing the doubles league on Tuesday night? Need you to speak now if you do. Time's a wastin'.
Ben, Not sure how long the doubles league will last, but once I am back to being able to throw, I would be in favor of playing doubles and Tuesdays are fine with me. I am just out for any Sunday play, on a regular basis at least!

Would any one be open to a league meeting? Say this coming week end? We could do it at the park or I will even host. I think we seriously should all try to get together to discuss the options. That is unless The League is already set on the decisions they have made.
I thought we could just throw 100 in on Sundays leagues and then Ben could do whatever he wanted.
Was I correct in hearing 9:00 AM at the park this Sunday morning is the meeting?
I think so. That's what I'm planning on. Hoping to play a quick round afterwards too.

Any one that can not play in the Tue Singles league that wants to play in a singles league contact me Max Plouck - on here or [email redacted], or 419-630-7529. I work 2nd shift.
If we have enough people that want to play in a singles league we will start a Sunday Singles league. We will just have to form a 2nd club in Bryan, seperate from Fountain City Flyerz so as not to interfere with their new format. Since things have been changed with just 3 weeks until Sun league was to start we will have to hurry but that should be no problem if we work together.
Max, I would be willing to meet up and play anytime during a weekday. As Brian mentioned, the course is pretty open without much to play around, other than the ocassional mower and the squirrels! I will be laid up from knee surgery until around the first of May (I'm hoping) but would be game ... more

I purchased my bag tag today. Had an interesting talk with Brian. Now I am seeking clarification from Ben & Josh. You are planning on doing away with Regular Sunday League play? Replacing it with random cash doubles play? No more regular league play for those of us who work 2nd or just cant play in the regular Tue night league? Can some one please clarify what's going on for me.
We tried to make the doubles league available to the largest number of participants that we could. That meant doing it on the weekend. I am planning to participate in a number of tournaments this year, which meant Sunday was the day that made sense. Can I come out and play with you guys, too?
Hey, Let me know if you want to just be a league administrator under our club. It may be a lot easier and a lot less confusing for people. If you have a time and day and a name I can add that. You can pull in players from any other league and add them with or without an email. If you have their emai ... more

Who's ready to see the ugly, dead grass?
John Broering March 7, 2015 at 8:43am
I'm posting this early to possibly get a larger group. Who would be interested in playing at 10am Sunday morning?
Shane Stembridge March 7, 2015 at 6:48am
Is there any shirts available with the club on it? Just wondering if so where do i find one or not would this be a good thing to do and sell and use the money made on them for tournaments and up keeps on the course.

For anyone who might be looking for a deal or two on new plastic, Dynamic Discs has Discraft, MVP/Axiom, Legacy, and Prodigy discs for 40% off through Monday, March 9. They are going to sell their own line plus Latitude 64 and Westside going forward, so the other stuff is on clearance.
Benjamin Wonders March 6, 2015 at 1:42am
Would anyone be interested in a random-draw, cash doubles league? If so, say so. LOL.
If you would wait until June to start and play through August, would this miss the spring a fall league schedule? I am assuming that you want this to be fun and give everyone the chance to play with new and/or different people. If scores and stats are used to pair up, there is a greater chance tha ... more
We're going to change things up a bit and do the doubles league on Sunday mornings. The Tuesday night singles league will remain the same, but Sunday singles will go on a hiatus until later this year.
Sounds good, I will see you in the fall then for regular leagues!
Shane Stembridge March 4, 2015 at 9:33am
Hello all. I'm new to disc golf, I have played a few times and love it.
As mentioned before, leagues should be starting pretty soon. I can't wait, personally.
Counting my days for recovery to see the updates. Thanks to all of you for making the course upgrades!
