Matches will be randomly drawn and the bracket set on Friday, June 27 at a location/time to be announced. ( thinking of booking a couple of rooms at the Soaring Eagle), Tee off at 9 . The first two matches will be played back- to-back with winners in each foursome playing winners, losers playing losers.
The hope the would be that following a 2 hr lunch break, that we could tee off for the third round by 2. The 8 who are 2-0 after the first two rounds will play a match play round......the 24 others will play a random draw doubles round with the payout being 400, 300, 200, 100
Sunday, tee off at 9. The final four will play a match play round to get to the final two.....and the 28 will play another round of random draw dubs for the same payout as the day before.
The 2015 championships will be held in Three Rivers...... The host of the 2016 championships will be decided on by the board at the first annual meeting of the board to be held on sat night.
You might also put in there that we would like to expand the number of member clubs to 12 for the 14-15 season. Once we get to 12 clubs, then each club would have 2 berths, the singles winner gets a berth and the other 7 go to top qualifying points earners.
Our members will be meeting in MtP on Friday night to draw matches for the next day (probably in a suite at the Soaring Eagle!), then again on Saturday night to conduct business for the coming year INCLUDING reviewing bids to host the 2016 Championships! You could note somewhere on your site that the 2015 Championships will be held at Meyer Broadway the last weekend of June, 2015.
