THANK YOU FOR A GREAT SEASON!!!

This last Friday wrapped up an awesome season filled with great rounds. Thank you to everyone that joined us for our Friday league nights! We will be taking a break for one week as most of the 24 Cha!ns council will be in Ludington competing for the Mustard Cup!! The following Sunday (Oct. 23rd) is the first Winter round. The league page is up and I will be making a post shortly!! CHAAAAA!!!!

Bandi took an overwhelming vote (3 votes total)...and it has been brought to my attention that we do not play enough shenanigans style rounds (except out bag tag final which was a blast by the way). So what we will be doing is a doubles one disc challenge!! We will be playing 2 rounds from the reds with you ONE disc of choice. It will be a lot of fun unless your one of those stick in the mud, ants at a picnic type of person that says "that's not real disc golf I want to play a real gam ... more

9 brave souls out of the 24 who bought into tags came to play this week? Well the loss was all on those 15 people because it was a blast! I would normally be disappointed with such a turnout but then again it was hinted from the get go that it was gonna go down shenanigans style so again...the loss is on those who don't participate...We played 1 round of One Disc Wonder and 1 round of Lil' Wiz Challenge from the short tees. It was anyone's game at that point!

Thank you to all who participated in our bag tags. I know it wasn't exactly perfect but I though it was fun. I am not sure when we will do tags again (probably not soon) but I can assure everyone that I have put some thought into it for the next go around. I have also been given some great feedback (and some not so great feedback) and ideas on how to improve for next time to make the tags more relevant throughout the summer. Until then, hope to see everyone at leagues as we will still be going on Fridays until late October! CHAAAAAAA!!!!

We will have some spare Lil' Wizards for sale & I am sure some of us have extras you can use if you need. The round is also a $5 Freddy round so don't forget about that!!

We also have a berth to give away for our point series. It does appear that unless someone at the top of the leaderboard besides me hits an ace I will be the summer point series winner (3 years in a row I might add!!) I have already won a berth through other means so the berth will kick down for sure!!!

Lastly, we will continue to play through the fall until we switch to Sundays so...ya know...CHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

To recap Founder's last week, 14 players total (which you'd of thought we'd finish but we didn't) Puttimus/Reslock & Piziali/Franky took the shared W with a -6 apiece.

So, not only is the 12th a $5 Freddy round but it will be our BAG TAG CHALLENGE AS WELL!!! If you bought in on tags you may not want to miss that. We will be giving away a berth to states with registration paid to whom every ends up with the lowest tag at the end of the day. There will be more details on how we will do this but in the mean time, DONT FORGET!!

I am posting this because I know eventually there will be an issue and I might as well be the first one to make a post like this. I personally like RPG's and I did once upon a time play Pokémon (on Gameboy). I know ya'll are excited to search for them and blah, blah, blah. Keep in mind that you are not coming to 24 Cha!ns to be anti social & play Pokémon. I do not care if you "need" to catch this "one" Pokémon, DONT CARE!! ... more

What a Friday the 13th! 26 people attended, including some Cass regulars that probably regretted tagging along just as soon as we started! Glad ya'll came along! 3 teams took the W with -10 (Bennett/Cooper, Shaffer/Piziali, Reslock/Puttimus).

I will get scores up soon but in the meantime I'm leaving it up to you pirates to show us the way! Keep in mind travel time when you cast your vote, I think it is pretty apparent that we will not be going somewhere that is far away but you know...pirates...

Bag Tag Challenge Update

Scores are posted! If you see a $ next to your name you are in the Bag Tag challenge. Winner will get a berth to state finals with their registration paid! There are currently 12 Tags left and a whole lotta season left to go. They are only $10. I will not be tracking them on DGS like in the past. I will collect them at the beginning of the round and hand them back out at the end of the round. August 12th is the final day so make sure you are there! Alright, Alright, Alright! Friday League is back and to kick it off we will be at Waterworks for a $5 Freddy round! We will have our point series bag tags for sale! If you want to play for a state berth with reg paid for you better get in on this! The will be $10. Also we are doing a fund raiser to get pads installed at Waterworks.
