Front entrance is still closed as of this evening at 10:50pm. Might be open tomorrow but plan on back way by the Ferry.

Unfortunately they are not opening the bathrooms like was done previously when the front gate was closed.

River level is falling. Main entrance should be open around New Years Day. Still can get in from ferry side of the park.

Well looks like the river is going to get pretty high in the next few days and with it getting close to that 18' mark the ferry entrance will be getting closed too. The small bridge will most likely be flooded in the next day or two. Call the park first if you are thinking about going. Maybe after Xmas it'll go down enough to re-open.

If you go buy your annual park pass from the parks office you can save $5! Only thru the month of December.

This Saturday October 8 2016 dubs will start at 9am to try to get more ppl out there. Sign ups will start at 8:30 by hole 1. Hope to see more ppl out there before the weather won't let us

SIGNAGE IS COMING!!
I have seen some and the others are being made as I type.
Soon the kiosk should be finished with all signs/maps posted.
Then we can begin to put in permenant tee signs!!

State has done all measuring/designing/printing. Since they are trying to "standardize" all State disc golf signs. I didn't snap a picture yet, I will when I'm out next to help install kiosk signs.

For those not playing in this weekends Pac-West Classic:
Though we love having you play Wheatland.... this weekend will be crowded w/70+ golfers playing 3 rounds over 2 days & isn't the best time. Have you tried the new short course in Wilsonville @ Memorial Park?

Hey mike just wondering is the park reserved and closed to outside/fee paid for? There was talk of some people playing after the rounds on Saturday?

I have reserved the park for the tournament but the park is not closed to all park goers. I imagine it would be tough to get a round in after the tournament rounds each day as they will run kinda late since there is 76 players.

Lost a white star destroyer with the WVCG club logo and a signature on the front, at wheatland today on hole 5. Threw it on a hyzer and it went just left short of the trees in the middle. I'd love it back if found I have a reward. Thank you

Completed mowing tonight.
Need to schedule a couple work parties to weed eat, do some needed trimming, & general clean-up.

I lost an orange giant with a "just rip it" dye on #15 in the tall grass on the right side of the fairway. Ill hook someone up with some cash or plastic if found. Thanks.

Lost a red/orange champ roc 3 today on hole 16 about 50 feet out in the bushes on the left. just before the tree. My name/number is in the rim.

So Wheatland is mowed again. Most of the fairways are cut narrower then usual so you might want to use a spotter still. Because if you aren't in the short grass, you are in the tall grass. Hole 7 still needs a little more love but it's very playable now.
