Since 09 it has gone from one temp course set up for 2-3 weeks in the spring with cloth baskets to now having 2 18 hole courses with 9 additional holes that make for a total of 45 baskets. It is hard to describe the magnificence of the property.
Since 09 it has gone from one temp course set up for 2-3 weeks in the spring with cloth baskets to now having 2 18 hole courses with 9 additional holes that make for a total of 45 baskets.
With that said, there are 7 different layouts with 7 different vibes to be had.
The terrain and views are simply EPIC.
It is surrounds by 3 huge mountains ranges and the property has large upthrusts of rock jutting from the earth.
It is the single most challenging mountain disc golf property I have ever seen. And I’ve seen most of em.
It is challenging to get there but the rewards are world class.
In 2021, 21 tee pads were installed w more to come.
Sometimes the wind is high, but most of the time, if you go a lot, you will get the goods.
It is private and can only be played during leagues, tournaments and certain open windows of play that the Sward family open throughout the spring to fall.
Events include: spring handicap league and fall handicap that occur on Sundays.
Also, Swards Ranch Classic and Rocky Mountain Championships.
