We as disc golfers need to help control the groups out there. Not physically but by educating them won't hurt.

@ Steven Welch - I agree, the more the better. But not at the risk of having 300 people on a course at one time when only 114 can only be playing at one time. Casual players, knowing there is an event going on, still force their way on the course regardless of how crowded it is.
I don't think there is a local park supervisor I have not approached for new courses and / or to expand our current ones. Casual players like to blame the leagues and tourney players for the crowded courses but I c ... more

It shouldn't come down to grouping people and name calling. I think the casuals and the organized groups both agree that sitting at a tee box for 25 minutes to throw is not what they intended to do when they left their house to play. Ball golf prices skyrocketed due to supply and demand. If the disc golf courses keep going this way with people playing, the parks will be forced to do something. I will say this to the casuals though, normally leagues and tourneys do not let more than 4 in a g ... more

I'm for a better regulation of the course. but charging more money isn't necessarily the answer. better patrol and enforcement of the wristbands and passes will help. too many people walk onto 22 and just walk the course backwards, or meet people on holes and therefore create these idiotic supergroups. once the new holes go in, and the course splits, you should see a little bit better flow in terms of traffic, but until then, just suck it up. best way to get through a mob of golfers? ASK. if they refuse, then explain to them how the game works. The more we educate, the better things will be.

It should be $500 for a daily and $10,000 for an annual. That'll keep the casuals at Bends and FF.

First of all it was a question. I wasn't whining and it wasn't a stupid comment. God forbid someone asks a question you don't like. I'll keep my thoughts to myself so I don't hurt any of you drama queens or mental midgets personalities.

2 bucks for an entree isn't a bad deal...

If the traffic is such a problem go to a different course or propose a course in your area. The sport is growing and the current courses will become crowded. Sorry but they paid just like you did so who's to say they can't play. Ask to play through or just skip to a different hole. Do something about it instead of whining on a website.

The course traffic is a problem at Stony. Something must be done! Waiting on causal mob golf sucks! Even idiots have $2 for an entree and $50 for a yearly seems pretty steep. It should be more for a daily and less for an annual.

You are more than welcome to donate your money, but we don't need you to help us spend our money. I wish people had to use their real names on the scene so that we could associate them with their dumb comments.

Any chance the park will raise admission prices this year to play the course? It's getting insanely over crowded. Even if the price was raised just for people playing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
