did i read that right? the picnic course baskets are going in for the weekend of Coop finale and union strikes but will be pulled for two weeks only to be re-installed 2-3 weeks later. what is the reasoning for this? are they worried about hitting sungazers around the beach?

I went out with the park staff this morning and outlined all 18 black tees with orange marking paint. Please do your best to not disturb the paint as it needs to stay there until Tuesday when they start to dig the concrete. Getting closer...

Teepads on the Chuck D are scheduled to be installed starting Tuesday, September 28th. Course will be closed during construction. Let's hope that everything stays on schedule..

Brian Machemer, Superintendent of Indy Lake, wanted me to thank all of the disc golfers who have made Independence Lake such a beautiful place to disc golf. The 101 and Washtenaw County Parks couldn't be happier to provide such a unique and pristine place to play.

Course goes in full time November 15th. Same thing as last year. Too many incidents and accidents with the nature class and picnicers.
