Great design in a city park setting. Many manicured fairways and good mix of woods holes.Very nice basket placements. Needs serious upgrades on the tee boxes.Needs
a bridge over the creek. And needs more benches. Love the course, needs finishing.

Course is steadily improving. Recent addition of benches and some tee pad improvements have this course playing really well.
Course has many diverse holes, and for being in a city park traverses surprisingly varying terrain.
Alternate short tee pads are available and are a challenging introduction to beginners in the sport.

Great pins (Innova), fantastic signage, natural tee pads but some getting brick tees (!!), beautiful park, some holes are fantastic, hole 4 needs redesign, still needs bridge at creek crossing on 5.

First course I ever played on and it is awesome. Some holes are tough(#4 and #14) but in the summer the whole course is beautiful and a great time.

Pros: Well kept course, great baskets, fun "loop style" layout where you get to really explore the park, technically difficult, lots of parking space, great use of signs for navigation from hole to hole as well as individual hole layout signs. This town is proud of this course. It is relatively new, and it is well taken care of. There are some really exciting "risk/reward" shots throughout the course. Here are some of my favorites: Hole 8 - Short uphill par 3. Pin located on the edge of ...

Several holes with challenging layout make aggressive play for birdie nearly impossible, and force intelligent course management to make par. On the other hand, there are some strings of birdie-able holes, where par is about the worst you can hope for. Just stay in-bounds.

Good Course, the tee's could be better. One had concrete squares, one had carpet, one had rubber mats, and one was brick. Most are dirt/mud. It rained recently so mainly mud.

A nice challenge with the foliage. Each hole has it's own uniqueness which is nice. It's like a real golf course - you have the holes you love, and the ones that impose fear on you still.

Fun but challenging course. Lots wooded holes with a mix of more open holes. All around a great place to learn the game or to fine tune your skills. Really good Innova disc catchers, good signage as well. Fairly easy to navigate with only a few holes somewhat difficult to navigate to from the last. Popular course with good fun people playing. All around great course.

After living in New York for 2 years now, and playing this course close to 50 times, I'm way overdue for my review. Normally, I'd give this course a B+, but with the close proximity to Hyzer Creek and Joralemon Park, it scores a bit lower. A couple of the holes are real spray and pray, more-so for novices, with no realistic way to duplicate birdies consistently. Most of the holes are very fun and deuce-able, the flow of the course is great with great signage. This course could be improved wit ...

Great park course with nice elevation changes, trees, and doglegs. The one negative I have about it is the tee pads are absolutely terrible.

First time we played this course today ... very difficult to find tees after baskets at times (thankful for my iPhone) ... and sometimes the basket to tee is further apart that two holes alone .. often having to walk backwards down a hole to find the next tee box. The first and second hole were inundated with sweat bees today everywhere ... awkward water in certain places on the course as well. I will give it a thumbs up on the white and blue tees, but again finding the tees is not straightf ...
