Pin positions are set up for practice. Please refer to the main page or the info board by tee 1 for the list. The Chainstars are in the Friday layout, and the pins that will be moved for the weekend rounds currently have Mach III baskets installed (these have the orange number plate, and will be removed before tee off on Friday.)
Patrick Graziani August 24, 2017 at 7:07pm
Hole 5 is now only going to use 1 pin. There is a ground bee nest on the left circle edge of the left pin. They have been marked and sprayed, but I don't think they will die. There is now only one pin on the hole for the weekend.
Feel free to contact Patrick Graziani with any questions or concerns. My number is (724)799-3805.

I'm considering on making me way up to spectate the tournament. Is there an entry fee for spectators?
Luke Shelton August 24, 2017 at 2:10am
The tee times posted on PDGA.com look a little off. It shows everyone in MPO teeing off between 12:09pm and 12:13pm. Are all players starting on hole 1, with the first card teeing off at a certain time? Thanks!

I'd like to come watch this tournament. Having never come to watch a tournament before, is there anything I should know going into it? Should I arrive at 8:00? Is there anything I should know about parking? Anything I should bring?
Thanks
Spectators are welcome and encouraged. There is no specific time to show up, but please remember these are professionals so be sure to be courteous and quiet while players are preparing and taking shots.

I know this is a Pro-only event, but now that the caps are lifted can I register under MPS even though I play AM?
You are absolutely welcome to register even if you play amateur normally. Feel free to message me or email me if you have any further questions.
Shawn Babella July 12, 2017 at 3:12pm
will there be a clinic at this event?
I talked with Patrick about it, and we decided that holding the clinic at a course closer to town would provide locals the best opportunity to attend.
Nate Sexton and Sarah Hokom will be at Knob Hill tomorrow for the NT Clinic! We will be meeting near hole 18. Hope to see you there!

Two questions, first one is in general, second one is for me:
1) If the whole tournament is at Moraine, how are you getting 144 players? And why are your other phenomenal courses being left out?
2) Do you need volunteers for spotting and OB work?
1.) We will be using tee times and a single round per day format in order to accomodate 144 players. We chose to use only Moraine, because it is move in week at SRU and we don't want anything to do with that chaos. Deer Lakes is just too far away to have a solid home base for the event, and it is far easier to prepare a single course for the event than 2-3.
2.) Yes we would love to have you as a volunteer! Please shoot me a PM with your email/availability for the 3 days and I will keep you in the loop on opportunities. Thanks for your help!

Registration is now open for all professional divisions. All division caps have been removed(may be edited if necessary). Divisions must have at least 3 players to be eligible for added cash.

I wish the PDGA and these national tours would set out a realistic tier registration. It's still pushing fpo and other fields out. How can anyone sign up when ultimately high rates mpo could fill up the fields? Most fpo will not meet the required tier and it will still be a mad rush for first come first serve. You may as well have it like vibram and invitees and qualifiers for national tour. At least this way I won't have to wait until the last minute attempting to make plans. Sheesh ... more
I understand it is frustrating that there is a waiting period for registration to open up to specific ratings. I however do not anticipate you having issues getting into the field. Until June 1st we are holding 44 spots for FPO and 100 for MPO. The last tier of MPO/FPO registration opens on April 24 ... more

Any tiered registration for masters?
No there isn't. Only MPO/FPO are eligible for tiered registration. With the limited field size we need to give these divisions the first shot at getting into the event.
So there's not a set field size for Masters and other divisions? When will registration for these other divisions open?
No there is not a set field size for these divisions. Registration will open on June 1st, with all remaining available spots being uncapped.
FREE for spectators!
