Does anyone know if anything is going to be done with the tee boxes out there? (ie.. flypads) The rain that is comming is going to make it very interesting if nothing is done. Just curious. Is the parks stepping up this year for tee pads? it would be a shame to have a course wasted becuase of those who won't and don't play natural tees.

Will need cleats and water proff socks. It is muddy and wet out there. Is anything going to be done about the tee pads? Was there yesterday and there is no good footing anywhere around the tee pads unless you got lucky. mush...lol

The reasoning for extra holes is that we have always had 21 holes at March Mush. Fitzgerald Park A,B and C. We will be not have any ghost groups on either day.
Thank you for your time and understanding,
Capital City Renegades

CCR is adding 3 holes. The cap will be maxed at 84 NO Exceptions. You will need to be registered by 9 am or you may lose your spot ! If you are a No Show and do not give 24 hr notice you will not be able to cashless register for a JBPS event and I will announce your name at the event.

ghost groups = unaviodable slow play. IMO = less fun
Daemon Stahlin March 4, 2010 at 8:12pm
i wasn't going to open my big mouth as not to offend people on the waiting list, but i will. i'm really disappointed that CCR will not be enforcing the cap.

More holes? How are the conditions going to be? How long will 18 take if they are bad? May just prolong the agony of completely muddy natural tee-pads. I don't know what the conditions are like out there because I haven't been, but I know that Thawing snow + Natural tee-pads = Grrrr!
Ira Fields March 4, 2010 at 7:17pm

I see that available spots has expanded from 72 to 80. Personally I would rather see us play 2 or 3 extra holes then use ghost holes. The backups at Kick the Yams were horrible, instead of waiting 20 minutes at a tee (due to ghost holes), I would must rather spend that time playing an extra hole. I really think 20 holes with 80 people would take just the same amount of time as 18 holes with 80 people. I doubt I am the only one that thinks this way

Kinda a bummer that the highest divisions aren't playing on the same day. I didn't observe any Advanced players trying to test the waters in Open the next day if that was the reason.
