Chilly Chains is back! For the second year, Chilly Chains Challenge is a fall/winter series on our Kamloops courses. This event is a low-cost fundraising event meant to keep players competitive and working on their ratings over the winter months.
Get In, Get Out, Get Rated and raise some funds!
Chilly Chains One raised $300! Thank you to all those who played :)
The Chilly Chains Challenge Series are working to raise funds for a throwing net in the practice area at Rose Hill Disc Golf Course, and fairway beautification and upgrades for hole 7. We are hoping to raise $3000 for these projects! This is a KDGC Fundraiser Series with a low cost of entry to allow you a small player's pack, small trophies for 1st place, no added cash for pros and a great sense of community.
Chilly Chains Challenge Two will be held at Rose Hill Disc Golf Park.
There will be 2 or 3 layouts in play, depending on the registration numbers. Pins will hopefully be in their winter layout, but this will be updated. The rough plan is:
MPO, MP40, MA1 will play alt blue/red on odd/even tees.
FPO, FA1, MA40, FA40, MA50, MA2, FA2 will play the white layout of blues on 1, 4 (par 4), 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 16 and 17 and the rest reds.
MA3, FA3, FA50, MA60, FA60 and juniors will play all reds
Player Meeting at 8:30am
Round One Shotgun Start: 9am
Lunch Break:
Round Two Shotgun Start: No later than 12:30pm
Awards immediately after
Sunset: 3:57pm
Times are subject to change but all registered players will be kept informed.
An aggregate playoff, in case of tie, will be holes 9, 10, 11. Then, those same holes in sudden death playoff until a winner emerges.
Pass through fees:
Insurance ($2)
PDGA Player fee ($2)
KDGC Green Fee ($10)

Other small items (like last year) less
