Can we add a caddy after we have registered?

Carrie Neal   March 8, 2023 at 3:24am

You don't need to add a caddy to your registration. If you want a support pass for them so they can access parking and events, you can buy one at check in for $5

Tanya Nodder   March 8, 2023 at 6:56am

James, you can also add it to your registration and pay for it in advance if you want, by going to your original confirmation email and click “modify registration“ at the bottom.

Chad Williams    March 3, 2023 at 4:36am

If FJ15 is collapsed Jordyn Little would like to stay in female divisions.

Chad Smoliak   March 3, 2023 at 4:59am

I’ll likely leave the division in play and not collapse.

Jonas Stoll-Pott    March 1, 2023 at 10:21pm

Is there going to be a shuttle to logan lake from kamloops or any players staying in kamloops from pool c

Chad Smoliak   March 3, 2023 at 5:01am

There won’t be a shuttle , the cost is very high. It would eat up a substantial portion of the budget. It’s not too far at around 30 minutes and I don’t imagine it will be terribly difficult to find someone if you’re lacking in transportation.

Jonas Stoll-Pott   March 4, 2023 at 3:57am

Is there a Facebook page i could check out

Carrie Neal   March 4, 2023 at 8:41pm

We have a fellow competitor putting something together for carpooling. Once we have it sorted, we’ll have a link posted here

Carrie Neal    March 1, 2023 at 2:33am

I should hotel info early next week! Tourism Kamloops has been working with us to try and get the best deals possible. I will post info here, our Facebook event page, our Instagram page and our club website.

Hi Carrie! Any updates regarding this?

Alex Logsdon   March 27, 2023 at 6:16pm

was there any updates to this?

Carrie Neal    February 27, 2023 at 10:10pm

Hey! Just a friendly reminder to anyone that sponsored a hole during registration that you have until April 15th to submit your logo, artwork, company name etc to: [email redacted].
After that time, your name as your registered it, will appear on your tee sign in basic black font!
NOTE: we will not edit nor will the printers, so if you have a website or contact info, send a logo that includes it all!

Sean Galbraith   April 4, 2023 at 2:31am

What are the dimensions of the sign, and is full colour/photo an option?

Carrie Neal   April 4, 2023 at 7:50pm

11"wide x 9"tall. The printer said they would do colour! Also, vector if possible please!

James Sanders    February 21, 2023 at 5:07am

Hey curious if there are any other ma3/fa3 couples playing to do some car pooling? We were planning on bringing up the RV and won't have a travel car

Rocky "the STAR" Gould    February 15, 2023 at 9:18pm

Hey guys, Cannot wait for TCO, would have been registered already with sponsorship, but was injured on Feb 1st and didn't know if I would be able. It's looking good now, my question if I register with a sponsorship, it's putting me on wait list for the MA40, if I do that do I have to hope one of the other sponsor spots cancels, or will I automatically get one of the Feb 20th spots?
Thanks,
Rocky

Chad Smoliak   February 15, 2023 at 9:53pm

You bring up an interesting point that I had not considered until now. You can not register at this point because only 50% of the division can be taken before full registration officially opens. I have turned off the ability to go on a waitlist for now. You will need to register after the 20th at 8pm PST. Thanks.

Rocky "the STAR" Gould   February 16, 2023 at 7:14pm

K thanks

Kevin Burgham    February 8, 2023 at 6:08pm

Is there anyway for players in Pool C to check in at Logan Lake? I won't be able to make it up until Thursday evening and would look to stay at Logan Lake. Driving into Kamloops to register is quite a bit extra driving. Thanks in advance!

Chad Smoliak   February 21, 2023 at 3:46am

If it’s not possible for you to check in someone can do it in your absence but they must do it in person for you and take your players pack for you.

pawlo marcynuik   February 22, 2023 at 12:37am

Kevin I'd be willing to do that for you 110%. I live in Kamloops and live close to Rose Hill. Let me know, you can reach me on facebook.

Kevin Burgham   February 23, 2023 at 1:30am

Thanks so much Pawlo! I'll send you a message.

Richard hoard    January 26, 2023 at 9:36pm

Is there going to be an ma2 class. That’s what I was in last year and would love to come down and play

Chad Smoliak   January 26, 2023 at 11:16pm

Yes MA2 is in pool C if you look at the pool assignments at the top of the registered players page. All divisions will be open for registration with a hole sponsorship on the 30th at 8PM PST

Chad Smoliak   January 27, 2023 at 2:38am

It's also listed with the other divisions below as having 0/80 spots currently taken

Damon Huttunen    January 25, 2023 at 6:26pm

Do players have to check in on Wednesday May 3rd and Thursday May 4th or does a player have to check in on either of those days?

Chad Smoliak   January 25, 2023 at 6:52pm

Either day is fine

Carrie Neal   January 25, 2023 at 7:04pm

Either day works. We are giving several time due to the fact that players are traveling and practicing. Last year we just had one day and it was busy! This way, the locals can get it out of the way early and those in town early can also take care of it ahead of time!

James h    January 24, 2023 at 4:52am

Super disappointed, my son and I played the tco last year and had the best experience. I just found out about the new format, I would be at rose hill, my 18 yr old would be in Logan lake, and my 11 yr old who didn't play last year would be a mac island. I can't plan any scenario that would work for any of us, my opinion is I didn't come up last year even thinking about playing logan lake. I loved the close proximity of rose hill and mac island, everything including the events were in town. We won't be coming up this year unfortunately due to this new course addition.

Chad Smoliak   January 24, 2023 at 5:07am

I truly am sorry that the format this year will not work for your family. The number one factor working against us having the event in early May ( the PDGA assigns a date or we would have held it later ) is the hours of daylight and sun in the sky. With the success of last years event we wanted to ... more

It may be a good idea to offer a shuttle bus service for players to copper ridge in Logan lake ? Given the distance and lack of places to stay there overnight?

Carrie Neal   January 24, 2023 at 2:05am

We are working on a shuttle option but it is not cheap. Logistics of how many buses, times back and forth etc are also difficult to know until we have an idea of actual registration numbers.

Chad Smoliak    January 23, 2023 at 5:41pm

Hey everyone , there was a course schedule posted for about 12 hours that had some divisions playing three courses and some playing two. Over night we received some feedback and have made the decision to drop to two courses only. I know some people will wish the two courses they are playing would be different and some people will wish they were playing all three, but with over 400 people expected I have to go with what I feel ultimately works best for the most amount of people. Thank you.

@Dan Laitsch - which course do you mean?

Carrie Neal   January 31, 2023 at 4:55pm

Dan, you know we appreciate your support! It's been unwavering since day one and to see you registered shows just how much you believe in the KDGC!

Carrie Neal   January 31, 2023 at 5:02pm

Allyson...the Pros do not play Logan Lake. It's about growth, balance and player experience. A tournament like this will experience growing pains the first few years and all we can do it ensure we take notes, be open to feedback and continue to grow with the player base. We already have a 2024 notebook started LOL! Little known fact: LL is a favorite among many BC players.

William Teeuwen    January 21, 2023 at 8:28pm

Yes Wyndham

William Teeuwen    January 21, 2023 at 8:27pm

That’s only $260 / 3 nights. $86 per day includes breakfast and swimming pool

Can I get clarity on registration with sponsorship?

Is it if I sponsor a hole or is it if I have people or companies sponsoring me?

Chad Smoliak   January 19, 2023 at 6:24am

you can have as many sponsors as you want as a player. I am sponsored by Dynamic Discs and Okanagan Disc Supply. Or if you want to register early and a compnay wants to cover the $30 hole sponsorship and have their logo on the sign that is totally fine. You can also select two for 50$. Hopefully that clarifies things.

Chris Istace   January 19, 2023 at 9:09am

While we're on this topic, I have sponsored a hole during my registration. Do I get any advertising benefit from that?

Chad Smoliak   January 23, 2023 at 8:38am

Yes there will be a sign beside the tee pad with whatever logo / artwork / name you would like on it (within reason of course, offensive material etc would obviously not be permitted )
