Lohmann Park › June 25, 2022
Great open course to practice. No Eli actions or long bombers but has some nice features. Two sets of tee pads and to tunnel shots on 7 and 8. Need to update map and start at school by hole one. Directions bring you to the opposite side of the course hole 3 would be nice if it had the trees trimmed to give you a fairway to get to the tee instead of a basket under 6 large trees that you hope to break through to get it in. I guess if I played it more I’d figure out a line. Over all good place to throug discs. I’m just spoiled so can’t give it a b but nothing bad about this course

Needs to be updated 18 holes of mixed terrain. Nice mix of woods and open hills. This is underrated hidden Jem. Need skills of all levels to score well.
Ingersoll Memorial Park › November 13, 2020
Good course simple layout. Some tree challenges and easy to play. Good for beginners. Nothing wrong with this course just flat and straight. Nice new baskets and sign post but signs not posted yet. Has potential . Would be a nice day for a picnic and play day with the family of all levels.

For what it is this course is very fun. All wooded technical holes that make you have good control or your disc as the fairway is all wooded and no grass to stop your momentum. Lots of elevations both up and down 30ft changes from tee to basket on some. Some like it some hate it as you won’t power drive a disk 300+ Ft at this course. I love it and really makes me work on antihiezer shots and touch along with power with touch to climb the steep hills.
Black Bear Park › October 15, 2020
Very tight course lots of danger areas but scores generously. Must have good controls and be able to go left and right off the tee. Lost a disk in the marsh on hole one but stuck with and left feeling good as it was a overall challenging day that made me play different from most other courses.
The Oaks › October 14, 2020
Nice course in mature oak trees. Nice touch with 27 holes. Plays easy and has two tee pads on every hole and some alternate baskets as well. I recommend the white pads as they are more challenging being about 75 farther with some obstacles. Even though it has trees all holes have a line or tree gap to shoot through but play wide open once you shoot the gap with the exception of two holes that are actually in the woods. . No need to worries about loosing discs . Very well kept and nice park. Will play it again.
Knoch Knolls Park › October 14, 2020
Very nice maintained course. Grass was like fresh manicured golf course tea-pads all long concrete pads. All holes had mulch ring and painted white circles to show you are in the circle. Only complaint is it plays easy and is crowded. Would play this anytime. Shot plus one on very windy day and I never played it before.
The Canyons › October 8, 2020
Nice course well maintained and very challenging. Park is in a canyon with small bluffs on the last 4 holes. And you play along a creek bed most of the holes giving you an OB area to work around as you play. Nice thing about this course is even though it’s in a canyon and wooded the brush is well maintained and easy to find the discs that go off line. I agree that this should be one of the top rated in Illinois and the pro shop with refreshments and discs for sale in the middle of the course i ...

Very nice park. Well kept good tee pads. I played two or the three courses here today and was very impressed with the area and Challenging lay out. All holes have two holes to shoot at so you can choose long or short. If you go short the holes are hidden behind trees and work to get them. I wish it was closer I could play this park all week and six different ways. One of the best I’ve played good challengers for all levels.
Just came back Nov 13 2029 and played south 18. Absolute my new f ...

Ignore the bad reviews if your are intermediate or higher. Course is not for beginners and very challenging. When I started playing I stayed away from this but just played today and loved it. Agree hole 15 is not reachable for an average player at over 700 par 3 with no elevation and transition from 15-16 is confusing. Other than that this is fun and good course to test and advance your skills
Algonquin Lakes Park › Quarry View › January 15, 2022
Don’t let the first to holes fool you. I went to this course not knowing what to expect. First two holes are basic and a good warm up for what’s to come. The third hole is a lob shot over the weeds to a short patch of open area by the hole. Placement in this hole and the holes to come are the key to how your day goes. This course is not for beginners and has lots of shots that will test your accuracy. Hole 5 is by the park and did not see it at first and hole 9 sign in weeds but easy to fin ...

Course is in good condition. Front 9 play relatively easy but had trouble finding hole 9 tee box. Back 9 are a lot more challenging and had trouble with finding two holes I think 12 and 15 as they are not clearly marked. Actually lost a disc on 15 as I teed off the top of the hill not knowing where the hole was and drifted into the brush left of the fairway on a windy day. Over all this is not a big inners course but good one to challenging your control and distance.
Sunny Hill Park › August 24, 2020
This is a great course to learn to play on. It should be all par three’s but will make you feel good with a couple short par 4 holes that are easy to hit in three. Par 5 is on top of a giant sledding hill and makes you feel like a rock star ass you can get monster drives off and easily reach hole in three. Wide open fields don’t need to worry about loosing discs. Tee boxes are the worst I wish they would fix them and I may give it a low B- but owe this course some credit as it helped me learn and I keep playing it to fine tune my game.
Clark Park › August 24, 2020
Very good 9 hole course. Great tee boxes well maintained. Will challenge you with trees on 1/2 the holes. Even though the whole course is basically par three it’s fun to play. Only bad thing is it dose get crowded at times with players and parks around the course. Good luck with dog leg left on hole 3 and bring a disk with a nice hook to turn the corner. Over all I enjoy this place and always have a good time
Sunrise Park › August 24, 2020
Love this course and have to thank it for helping me with gaining distance to my tee shots. Mostly open but also has some challenging holes. Hole 3 has a narrow path out of the woods with dog leg left that will mess with you if you don’t go straight off the tee. Hole hole 5 and 16 are tucked in the woods and take a good tee shot to set up success to have a shot at par or birdie. Hole 6 gets me every time as I still have issues with dog leg right holes and hole 9 even though it’s easy will ge ...

This is a great course to play once you gain control of your discs and can throw straight with distance. Challenge yourself to stay straight and long or be prepared to search in the brush. I love and hate this course at the same time and it took me a month to get confidence to play it. Once I got out and figured it out it’s one of my favorites so far.
Randall Oaks › August 24, 2020
Good course to start in with wide open space and some obstacles in front three holes with shade and reachable holes for birdies. Hole three has no sign so not sure the par but has big oaks that Challenge your tee shot to reach the hole. After the first three be ready to go into the sun as the course opens up and gives you a chance to test your distance driving starting up a hill then into open fields. This is a nice course to play and gain confidence as you grow your game.
Walnut Hollow › Main course › May 1, 2022
This course is no joke. Very long holes. I’m new to the sport but by far the hardest course I played. Hole 2 over 800ft par 5 followed by a par 4 700ft hole. Some holes have narrow lanes through trees. I would call this a pro course and enjoy the nature through out the course.
Lake in the Hills DGC › August 23, 2020
Very narrow fairways lots of obstacles. Holes are 2-3 foot from brush and swamp on one hole.
Over all this is a good course but technical shooting required. Only 9 holes and nothing over 300ft . Not for the person looking to bomb drives but good course to work on skills and control
