Getting a couple of questions this morning. Yes, we play, rain or shine. If there are lightning strikes within close proximity, a delay will be called until they have passed by at least 30 minutes.
Do a google search on how to play disc golf in the rain, but my quick tips:
Have an unbrella to keep your bag dry. Cover it up when it's not on your back.
Lots and lots of towels. Keep as many of them in a zip lock as you can.
Quicken your throwing routine as much as possible without throwing you off.
Switch your discs from slippery ones like Champion plastic to grippier (sp?) ones like DX, G*Star or R-Pro.
