Results and payouts have been posted on the front page of the event. See 'About'.
When this event was opened up I was planning on doing all of the Am payouts through Maverick. Then when the PDGA restrictions were announced I was planning on doing all of the Am payouts through DZ Discs. Then, after the pop-up event at Forest Park, I was thinking the Am payouts would be your choice of Maverick or DZ Discs. I'm sorry for the confusion, it is weird times we are operating in and i ... more

Welcome to the 2020 edition of the Crestview Cup, this year presented by GRIP Equipment. I want to thank Grip Equipment for their title sponsorship for this event. I personally carry a Grip bag and think you should too. Having handled many bags in our sport, I truly believe they are the best made bags out there.

There will not be a players meeting. This email should hopefully contain all the information you need. If you have a question, please ask.

RAIN OR SHINE.

Getting a couple of questions this morning. Yes, we play, rain or shine. If there are lightning strikes within close proximity, a delay will be called until they have passed by at least 30 minutes.

Do a google search on how to play disc golf in the rain, but my quick tips:

Have an unbrella to keep your bag dry. Cover it up when it's not on your back.

Lots and lots of towels. Keep as many of them in a zip lock as you can.

Quicken your throwing routine as much as ... more

I've requested a refund multiple times. Why haven't I been taken out of this tournament yet?

Rob Martin   June 16, 2020 at 8:53pm

I've received your one request earlier today and have processed it. What's the problem?

Rob Martin   June 16, 2020 at 8:55pm

I processed your request 32 minutes after I received it.

What happens if you are late for the tee times of your division? Would it be consider a no show or would I happen to be thrown on to another card?

You're given par plus 4 on every hole you miss.

Rob Martin   June 16, 2020 at 11:43am

Justin is correct. Your assigned tee time is not flexible once posted. If you're late, it's Par +4 meaning On a Par 3, you get a 7, Par 4, you get an 8. That's for each hole you missed, including one where the group has tee'd off, but has not completed it yet.

Rob Martin   June 16, 2020 at 11:45am

If you are late, it's better to let me know via text at 785-764-2229. If you simply don't show up or tell me you're not coming, you forfeit your player pack.

ACE FUND RULES:
I want to give a huge shout out to our title sponsor, Grip Equipment. All players, Pro and Am will get a Grip Eq towel in their player packs.

The Ace Fund pays out as Grip Equipment bags. We'll have these three available: Coal BX2, Sand CS2, and Grass G-Series.

Normally after the tournament we would have a CTP contest to award any Ace Fund prizes that were not earned by an Ace during the tournament. As we are on tee times, that won't be possible.

Is it too late to register for this event?

Rob Martin   June 1, 2020 at 2:15pm

Depends on what Pool & Divisions you want to register in. Registration is still open, but many divisions are full and some pools' waitlists are full as well.

Larry McGillivary    May 26, 2020 at 2:48pm

I replied. The registration email goes to an account I don't monitor.

LAST CALL FOR PLAYERS THAT REGISTERED BEFORE THE WAIVER WAS UPDATED.

You have until Thursday, 5/28 at 3pm to read and respond to the email that was sent to your registration email. If I don't hear from you, you will be removed from the event. I've emailed you three times. I'm not your mom, I'm not going to chase you down.
