Just a quick reminder that the Kick Off of the Winter season for Ypsi Dubs and the DGLA Mi Cooperative Point Series is next Sunday Nov 22nd and we are at the Farm House to continue the tradition of a fun winter kickoff.

Warm up your chill pots - Chill cook off in between rounds or side dish if you wish.

Just a quick reminder that the Kick Off of the Winter season for Ypsi Dubs and the DGLA Mi Cooperative Point Series is next Sunday Nov 22nd and we are at the Farm House to continue the tradition of a fun winter kickoff.

Warm up your chill pots - Chill cook off in between rounds or side dish if you wish.

There will be two rounds - morning and afternoon. Hopefully both will be for mega winter points.....
24 Chains and Night Moose will be joining as probably a few players from the area. So you can get two rounds in to maximize your points and fun.

Some players are headed over to the Farm House Saturday to get re-acquainted with the course as there have been some upgrades since last year.

Saturday night they are predicting 5-8" of snow - Sunday mainly sunny but the high is 33 degrees - grab some hand warmers.... plan accordingly - this is the Winter season - hopefully a bit milder than the last two seasons but record breaking fun all season......

Bring a friend, your discs, chilli, a smile and let's kick off the Winter season with some Farm House Fun!!!!

Sorry but due to the cold and rain we will not be putting in doors....... Oh WAIT A MINUTE. yeah we are putting in doors where it's warm and dry. GAME ON!!!!!!

OK it's Tuesday - No round at Rolling Hills til Spring but if your putting game could use some improvement - Yeah that's everyone ;-), you think your putters can help fill your empty wallet or purse, or you just miss hanging out with everyone. Grab your putters and head to the Barn by 6:00 tonight. If you need more details contact Sam Hardesty. He was also talking about getting together on another night as well. So if you want to putt but your busy on Tuesdays talk to Sam.

Ypsi Dubs - Big things start small

Big things start small. Ok originally I was going to send this out to just the few who always show up on time or early but I think this could be bigger than I originally thought. Ok here goes. What if those who normally show up early set there clocks back one hour. Then all those who love playing ypsi dubs winter disc golf would show up at the same time and enjoy great winter golf. Big things start small. Ok originally I was going to send this out to just the few who always show up on time or early but I think this could be bigger than I originally thought. Ok here goes. What if those who normally show up early set there clocks back one hour. Then all those who love playing ypsi dubs winter disc golf would show up at the same time and enjoy great winter golf. Then I realized that this is bigger than just our local disc golf scene. If you set your clock back one hour and tell a friend who loves winter disc golf to do the same and they tell two friends who love winter disc golf and they tell two million friends and so on. It would be Hugh. Now for a crazy idea like this to grow to be epic it has to have some secrete code word that only those in the know, know...

So when you hear people say "day light saving" you know it means I love winter disc golf. Right On, Right On, Right On. Power to the players. I know I sound crazy and it has been confirmed numerous times but I really think this could be Hugh.
I predict it will spread like wild fire. Watch your inbox, social media and probably tv - key word "day light savings " and we'll know it means "we luv winter disc golf"

Tell a friend, get an extra hour of sleep or an extra hour of Halloween partying and we will see you at "10:30" in the morning for some great winter disc golf. Luv that " day light savings" ;-)

Monday nights at the Creek. Off Textile a mile east of Belleville road.

Monday special - 50 cent wings and $1.50 domestic beers.

Come throw some soft tip darts or hang at the fire pit.

We will start gathering around 5:30 come and go when ever - casual.
I'll have several extra sets of darts - no worries.

Ypsi Dubs - Prep for Winter Kick off

I hope everyone is enjoying the great fall weather - less bugs, no sun burn, no snow or 5 layers of clothing yet.....

As with many seasons in the past we love to kick off the Winter season with a Family Blast - No better way to do this than to join together with several other clubs at at amazing neutral course and play and party together all day and night with live Bands and crazy games.

Yes we look forward to the first round at the Farm House with lots of Friends and lots of points.

Now to maximize our fun the course could use some tender loving care. If you plan on playing the Farm House this winter, attend the Farm House Olympic party or the Winter season kick-off. Please consider coming out this Saturday for a Course work day. There will be some tools but bring anything you have to help. We will work, party and play and then enjoy for many weeks to come.

Hope to see you this Saturday Oct 3rd - see Jub Jub for details but any time and help will go a long way.
