Oktoberfest 2011!

Oktoberfest is fast approaching. Saturday, Oct 29th will be our annual Tully Club Oktoberfest and the official end to our 2011 season. The party starts at 9AM with tee off at 9:30. We have a AM singles round scheduled, followed by a cookout in the afternoon, and a Random Dubz round following lunch. Goodies and prizes, beer and brats. Any CTP/prize donations certainly welcome. Feel free to bring chips, beer, soda, beer, dogs, burgers, beer, beer....mmmm beer.

What Time???

I don't know why but it seems the times are inconsistant on the league schedules. We are still meeting and trying to tee off for 5:30. Sorry for any confusion.

LEAGUE MOVED TO FLATROCK 3/24

Tully is underwater and we will be moving Dubz League to Flatrock tonight. Yes it sucks but be glad we have a prime course so close to be able to make a move if neended.

Don't forget your $5 greenfee if you are not a Flatrock member.

First League

So, I would have to say that we officially rocked the house with our first weds random dubs! 22 people showed up, which is a huge start in my mind. Terry and Rosco took down 1st, Sully and Jamie took 2nd, and Derek and Bill took 3rd. I am very happy with how it went besides the fact that we had a little trouble getting going. If everyone could show up a little before 430 next week I would like to get some club business done with the group. Hopefully everyone had as good a time as I did, and we will see y'all next week. Official Start

So we officially have more daylight, which means weds random dubs are back in action!! we will be having our first gathering this weds at 430, I think we are gonna do something along the lines of putting 5$ down per person, 1 or 2 of that going to the ace pool and the rest goes out for payouts for the night. Anyone has any suggestions give me a holler. We also have to discuss projects for the course this year, i.e. monthly tournaments, kiosk, teepads, trash, and hole 8 layout. Looking forward to starting the season, see y'all on weds.

The sun is going down earlier and earlier these days. We should tee off as soon as we can, I know there are disc golfers out there that have jobs, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to move the start time to 4:30.
