WDGC Random Sunday Doubles
Doubles league
Hey all,
Random Dubs @ Adair 11am Sunday!
I'm excited because it's MY first club dubs on the new tee pads!!
They really turned out awesome. I'd sure like to see some of our Salem Homies who helped us on the day of the big pour. I know they are working on a new course (Wheatland DGC) from 1-5. Maybe we can carpool from dubs up to the new course and tear it up!
Hope to see you all out there. Since I missed the first dubs on the new pads, I'll make it special this time. There will be at least 3 CTPs!

Adair is open for play! Be careful on the pads that don't have fill/gravel yet as there are some significant drop-offs. If anyone has time/energy to spread some gravel in the next couple days, that would be great!
Sunday Doubles this week will be at Adair at the usual time of 11am. Hope to see you out there for the first club round on the new tee pads!

See you tomorrow.

go to the league page for details. basically $4, $2 (up to 2 mulligans), $1 ace pot
Well, since the big pour (for concrete tee pads @ Adair) is on Friday, we won't be able to play on Sunday as the concrete won't be sufficiently cured.
So the question is: where are we going to have Sunday Doubles? Some prefer Willamette, others say Bryant.
I think I'll cobble up one of those Doodle Polls so we can vote on it and keep things democratic.
Stay tuned.
Ok guys. The polls are closing on voting for Willamette vs. Bryant . (Most of you have texted me) I'll announce the result soon
The sun burned through the fog. Two of the highest ranked players in the world showed up. The infirm and dying took a break from dying and...infirming, and I made it over from Albany Hospital!
We had 13 players, including some non-regulars.
Nate (#16 in the world) Sexton and Mike Gibson took it down with a -13 (we were all shocked!)
Dion (the whip) Arlyn and Scotty (new face!) took second with a -9
John D and I got whipped by Mike Key for third place in the CTP playoff on hole 1. ...

See you all out at Willamette @ 11am tomorrow.
There will be a CTP or two..
$100 Ace Pot(s) (Piece o cake @ willy, right?)
If I don't make it out, Mike Key will step up and run it. I'm hoping to be there though.

What a great round! No rain. Great fun with 12 players.
Right before we drew chips, I said, "The only person I don't want is Dion, because I'm going to take him down!!!" (Ok, ok; I'm a little over-confident since my big WO win.)
He and I won with a -11.
Luke and Lonnie (pretty sure on that one?) took second with a -9.
Dion took down the hole 8 Lagunitas Stout CTP.
Mike Key got the hole 1 CPT- an Echo Star Leopard.
I'm shooting for a goal of 20 players at Sunday Doubles during the winter. Help me out.

btw, I'm not running this as a true league. (I'm not sure I can convince everyone to sign up on DGS). It WOULD be cool to do it that way as there would be score tracking etc...it would give us some real data for the age old uphill/downhill vs. random debate!
By the way, we will have a couple of CTPs today: Some nice plastic and a 22oz tasty something or other.
billy
This is my first time using DGS for Sunday Dubs, so I'm just playing around.
Come on out tomorrow!

How much to play?
