I do apologize for the scoring error, blame Martinelli who wrote them all down, lol. Anyways, there is a tie atop the leader board now between Kurt and Sam. This will be settled this upcoming week in which we will have a sudden death playoff to decide who wins the league for Winter before the round starts. The first hole of the playoff will be teeing off from next to the garage to #3's basket on top of the hill(roughly 550-600ft). If still tied we will continue to hole #4 from there and so on until a winner is decided.
Last night marked the end of the Winter Points Series for our Thursday evening league. Sam Smith just edged out Kurt, Gabe and Stratford to take the overall league victory for Winter. Next Thursday we will be back at Moose Meadows and it will be the start of the Spring/Summer League, but not the points series. Congratulations to Bill Hornyak for taking the CTP on Hole #2. See you guys next Thursday.
I played with Jesse and Bill, they shot -12. Gives Strat Coach Gabe and me 10 points. I tied you Sam at 88... throw off on 1?
The glow league will be moving to Willow Metropark this week. We will be starting at 6:15 at the very latest. We hope to get at least half the round in without using glow.
For this week as of right now. We will start moving both the Sunday league and the Thursday league back and forth between Willow and Moose Meadows. We hope to make all the holes at my house playable for Summer Points and also add some holes as well. We are shooting fora minimum of 12 holes with alternate tees.
Just was throwing it out there to see if there will be enough people attending for me to go out today and shovel tee pads. It is very slushy and wet but some of the tee pads may be alright. I was thinking we just play two rounds from the shorts to save me some shoveling and also looking for discs. Please let me know if you will be attending tomorrow evening.
Pads are clear and only 1 hole under water so that's better than expected.
Ace pool for this week is gonna pay out large. We will have a 100% CTP and we will be playing the additional holes and maybe extras. A lot of people hitting baskets on Thursdays and it is only a matter of time until someone hits a glow ace!!!
I know it's gonna be cold again tomorrow night but I hope to have the course in good condition, even if the weather isn't. On the plus side of things the ace pool will pay out at least $150 if hit and it looks to be double points again as well. Throw those layers on and bring your hand warmers and join me for a cold a$$ birthday round.
Thursday night glow dubs will resume this week. All tee pads are clear and very easy to find discs since some of the snow has melted. The ace pool is at $161 and the weather is looking like high 30's or possibly low 40's. Come join us at Moose Meadows for a nice night of disc golf. If we do not have more then 5 people we will be playing singles, not doubles. This format will continue going forward so that points can be rewarded accordingly. The first round will be played from ori ... more
Due to my work schedule and others not able to attend Glow Dubs this week is cancelled. By next week we hope to have all pads cleared and also some paths beaten down.
Yesssir, ace pool is gonna pay out at least $130 if hit this Thursday. Come enjoy the brisk fall air and brilliant colors with the Moose this week.
sweet
I did that on purpose. I wanted to build the excitement
