We still wanted to encourage people to go out and play and with that in mind we have decided on a weekly points series that will run from the week starting June 7th, 2020 through the week ending on August 29, 2020. We ask that when you play keep your group to a max of 4 players and try not to liger at the course after the round. We are in the process of getting UDISC live scoring for this as well but that is in a lottery and we have not heard back yet. Until we get approval we ask that one person on the card keep score and share the scorecard with a Chain Bangers Council member so that scores can be updated here so points can be accurately tracked. This will be run as a handicap league requiring a min of 3 rounds to calibrate and handicaps will change according to your most recent 3 scores.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 people for a round to count with a max of 4 per card.
Rounds can be played Sunday through Saturday at your convenience.
Scorecards must be shared to a council member before 11pm every Saturday or the round will not count.
Your second person can be someone that has already submitted a score for the week but their score will not count if their first score for the week has been turned in already.
You may request a score not be used if you want to play another round that will count but the person submitting the score card for the round must indicate to us that a players round is not a recorded round. Please also message the league on your own to indicate not to use a round. You will have till 11pm the day of a round to indicate that the score is not to be used. Finally if you request a round not be used you CANNOT ask for that round to be included at a later time.
This league will have a buy in of $20 for the entire league. The money then will be divided among the top point players that will be decided according to the amount of players registered. Please be registered by no later than June 30th. You can still submit scores without payment until that date but after that date if you have not made your registration payment you will be removed from the league. We are doing this in an effort to give people a little more time to come up with the fee. In the event you miss the June 30th dead line you can still play but scores will only count once the fee has been submitted and you will lose any scores you submitted between June 30th and the date of payment.
ACE FUND will be rolled over from last years and there will be a donation from a club member to make the fund bigger. No addition payment will be required to be included in the ACE FUND and the ACE FUND will be payed out at the end to anyone that got an ACE during your weekly league round. The FUND will be split if multiple people hit an ACE.
Finally this will also decided who will receive what bag tag from the new bag tags purchased this year. The tags will be issued at the end in the order of most point earned to least points earned.
We thanks you for your support through this strange time!
See you on the course!
