Threw 18

4 souls braved the cold. Rollie shot a great 55 and Joe a great 58 to take the cash Mickey got a point! Chilly but no wicked wind! Next week is the final week so if you have thrown, come on out and go for 3 ctps holes 1,2 and 7!!

Come on up to the Pond Sunday

Only 2 more rounds of Sunday's at the Pond. Congrats to Justin with a fine -2( in a groove at P Ville)Duane shot a very nice +2 for second and Don got the final point!! If you have thrown at least 2 weeks and paid into the Ace fund it will be split up the final week this way, if no one hits. 20 dollars to the League Champ, 5 dollars to the 2nd place winner. there will then be three 25 dollar ctps holes 1,2 and 7. Thanks all who came out this Winter! Next year after the Final 9 are in we will be looking to making the Winter League Doubles only!

3 More Weeks

Congrats to Justin again with a nice 52, Rollie was right behind with a nice 53 and Larry got the final point with a 55. Thanks all who have supported this league throughout a crazy Winter! The Ace fund is at 87 bucs so come out and give it a try! It will cap off at 100 and we will do 4 25 dollar CTPs the 21st if no one hits! Remember the 21st will be the last week of Winter League. Rain let up

so we got in the two rounds! Rollie continues to own the course and shot a great 50, Larry was right behind with a very nice -2, and Justin followed up with a even par. After I left the temps dropped and down it came Snow... thanks for getting out today Ice Bowl next Sat. Remember to bring your food please, and 25 bucs for all in with side games! Rollie also got the CTP on hole 2, it will be 2 and 7 next Sat!! each a sweet stamped towel and 25 dollar JT's Dinner Cert!

Wind a factor

some strange wind currents today at the pond, but Rollie shot a great even round to take first with Don taking 2nd with a +3 rounding out the top 3 was Dan with a +6....Justin grabbed the ctp on 2... 2 weeks till the Ice Bowl Still room for those who have not signed up!! Come join the fun!!!

Rain the word

Lots of it during the first round! Justin still shot a great 53 to take the 3 points and the 10 dollars with Rollie close behind with a 55 for cash back and 2 pts, Dan shot a 57 to take the final point! Justin also grabbed the CTP! lots of puddles.... scoping out a good Ice Bowl layout if wet!! SEE you next week!! only a few weeks to the Ice Bowl. Disc are in if you want to prepay and fetch yours early!!

Ice Bowl Conditions

Good practice for the Ice Bowl today as Snow and odd wind currents was the rule of the day. Dan kept it tame and shot a nice 55 to lead us and get the 18 dollars and 3 points, followed by Rollie with money back and 2 points Don followed up and got the final point! Dan squeaked out the ctp on hole two. 9am next Sunday

Last Week of Warmth

First we will be starting league at 9 am next sunday the 20th, so that anyone who wants to throw Sims on league days can make both. Great rounds today by Justin with a great 52 and Rollie and Rob shooting nice 53's with Rollie getting the tie breaker. Rollie also snagged the ctp on hole 1!! Come on up throw Painesville as a warm up then hit Sims!! We are growing funds towards our goal but are always looking for donations!!

A great 2 rounds at the Pond! The conditions were a little slippery but Rollie and Dan shot a nice -1. Rollie got the throw off for the 14 bucs and 3 pts and Dan got his 6 bucs back and also 2 pts and the 5 dollar ctp on hole 2! Joe M took the final pt with a 61. I need a verbal commitment on discgolfscene.com. by the 15th of December for all those who want a full sized stamped Ice Bowl Disc for the Jan 16th Ice Bowl. After that all entries will be for a mini!! Thinking about changing to a 9 am ... more

This Weather

Will not last!! Rollie shot a great 47 with his cali partner, himself to tie up with Justin and Bill! Rollie took the cash and 3 points on a ctp and Bill Ninja Savage took the ctp on hole 2! Bill an Justin will get the 2 points and Dan and Rob shot a great 52 to grab the 3rd place point!! Thanks for Coming out to the Pond!! Final tweeks are going on the Ice Bowl scheduled for Jan.16th! Come on up next Sunday and join us! We will not throw the 29th enjoy your Thanksgiving!!

Sunny and Nice

Today at The Pond was great, Sun and a few rounds of Disc Golf!! Dan Nelson shot a great -3 to take the 22 dollar prize and Don Demoss was right behind with a great even round, Bill got the 3rd spot and Joe M. got the ctp on hole 3! Thanks for coming out, as soon as we can get 10 or more we will throw doubles. I have the Ice Bowl Registration done and it should be official soon stay tuned and like the Painesville disc golf club page to stay up to date with future events at Painesville Recreation Park!!
