Thursday 5.12.22 Putter Roulette Round - Lakeshore Ponds

Hey guys, you'll see on Udisc it has us setup for putter only round, however we are adding a twist. This time it's rotating putters.

You bring your own putter, (1 throwing / 1 putting - must be same mold) and each hole we rotate whose putter you have to play with.

Work Day Saturday 4.2.22

I know many of you have offered to help with a work day, Saturday morning at 9am at the Pavilion we are going to meetup to spread some mulch provided by the City around the 3 tee pads that really need it and around a couple of the baskets.

Please bring wheel barrows, shovels and rakes to spread mulch. Thanks so much!

SHOTS FIRED!!! CHALLENGE!!!! GRUDGE MATCH!!!!

SB has been challenged to a GRUDGE MATCH!!! Nate Barton has issued a challenge. He says he has some guys who want to throw down; 4-5 guys who think that they can take us. I figure why not go at them on their home turf!? That way when we win, they have NO excuses. We need to figure out a time and course. We could swap out our normal round for this. I figure we bring as many as we want they have to beat our top 4-5 shooters that day :)

Hello Everyone! I think we might see spring around the corner. IT is March finally!!! But that also means the MUD!

Congrats to Chad, Sean, Shane S., Jacob L. ALL of whom took down tournament wins recently! You guys make us LEGIT and won in such HUGE fashions. Sean and Chad both led from start to finish. Shane and Jacob had some of the best second rounds I've ever seen shot in MA3! For real boys WELL DONE BOYS!!

Shane and Jacob had some of the best second rounds I've ever seen shot in MA3! For real boys WELL DONE BOYS!!

If you haven't heard, we have also started a GLOW LEAGUE on Tuesday nights out at the The Hill in Taylor. We have had a great turnout the first two weeks. Everything is on DGS and UDISC.

We have expanded to a larger group. I'm hoping now that it is getting warmer we can start to get some bigger turnouts. We are most likely going to move the round back to during the week now that we have hit daylight savings; plus I know a lot of us are playing tournaments on weekends. However, there are TONS of casual rounds that come together through the text chat. I love it.

Speaking of we are going to be expanding the text chat to 18 people. If you wish to be removed please let me know. Otherwise there is some great stuff going on there. Love seeing everyone rooting guys on and the funny comments/content.

FINAL NEWS - We are going to be getting some MERCH with our own SB LOGO!!! I know I know, finally! People have been asking so we are abiding. I need to get a feel for your SHIRT SIZE and preference JERSEY or POLO. These will be premium dri-stretch shirts from either Vii apparel or Circle 1. Saturday 3/5/22 Round Details

Via the group text we decided to play Lake Shore Woods at 9am.

CADDY CHALLENGE!

We will pair high tag and low tag and every other hole you swap who throws and who picks the disc and shot.

Example: Craig and Tom are partners.

Hole 1 Craig picks Tom's firebird and says throw forehand flex shot, Tom has to do that no guiding or talking back. This continues until the putt is made.

Hole 2: Tom picks Craig's Volt and tells him backhand flat shot, and they finish out the hole and swap again on the next hole.

Safari/Dice at The Foz

Sorry its been a while since an update guys. There has been some discussion around the safari round. It has not been added to the match history due to some guys not being able to finish and I wasn't sure how to decide how to score the round for the unfinished scorecard. I wasnt able to make it to the safari round but I hear a few people got their feet wet :( Hope you guys enjoyed the round still though!

Sorry its been a while since an update guys. There has been some discussion around the safari round. Last week was the Dice at The Foz. We had enough guys to send 3 cards out with 3 different sets of dice. Sean, Tom,and Justin used the "easier dice" lol. Brad, Steve and Jeremy used the 3D printed dice and Mike, Robbie and Craig used the Disc Dice App (Using the same sides as the 3D printed dice). Some of us got stuck throwing a lot of rollers, overhand and my personal favorite flick. A few discs were lost and hopefully found or returned.

Bag Swap

This week we had 6 people and a friend of one of the SB show up for a bag swap round at Cass. There was much fun to be had by all! Some of us even enjoyed certain discs so much we added them to our bag. The bag swap was Todd and Sean switched and played with Sean's friend. Robbie threw discs from Mikes bag, Jared threw discs from Robbie's bag, Craig threw from Jared's bag, and Mike threw from Craig's bag. Robbie came out on top. He also took the CTP.

This week we had 6 people and a friend of one of the SB show up for a bag swap round at Cass. There was much fun to be had by all! Putter only round/New tags means new rankings

We had 8 guys show up for a putter only round at Rolling tonight. We played odd PDGA numbers against even PDGA numbers + Todd. The odds won it :) Way to go Mike, Tom S, Jake and Jared! Jeremy barely beat Tom for a CTP on hole 13 for a sweet new envy. Craig won the longest putt on 14 for a custom dick mini.

With the last round being the last acrylic round we decided new tags means new rankings.

Last but not least The Shittiest poop joke of the week-

If your not one of the few who suffered through many rounds with me already we welcome you and don't worry Todd will keep you safe from me ;)! We will be posting the upcoming rounds shortly. Try to keep an eye on the schedule as dates may change depending on everyones schedule.

-We will no longer enforce the last place brings beer as our ranks have grown quite a bit.

-You are welcome to bring a guest but they will not be included in the tag exchange after rounds.
-We would like to make our members achievements known. Hit an ace? break a course record? take 1st at DGLO? We wanna know and brag about you.
-We will be working up to weekly rounds now. If you can make it great but if not no worries. There will no longer be a 3 missed rounds means you go to last rule as some of the SB will not be able to make it regularly.
-The weekly rounds will rotate between different non-traditional ways of playing such as 1st week Disc Dice 2nd week Ript or one of the variants
3rd week putter only 4th week club choice (we will have a list including but not limited to bag swap, Prove it!, or follow the leader, we will explain things to any who need clarification.

The last acrylic tag round had 3 members show up for a round of Disc Dice at the Gulch. Sean decided we were going to throw overhand on what felt like just about every hole. Thanks Sean. The disc dice turned the gulch into a nightmare as our scores show :) We will be doing virtual tag updates til the new metal ones come in.

Lost and found round update

We had 5 of the current Shitty Britches show up for Twizbees lost and found round and much fun was had by all! Robbie held onto his tag while Todd jumped ahead and took 4th. The battle between the forehanders continued with Mike taking it by a stroke this time (sorry Craig). Jared also got to keep his current tag.

We will most likely be ordering new tags soon so be on the lookout for updates on those. We are also going to be welcoming several new members to the Shitty Britches Bag Tags.
