PRIZE NIGHT Aug 29th ROLLING HILLS

Hello Everyone, PRIZE NIGHT will be at Rolling Hills, Tues Aug 29th 5:30pm. TOP 20 will receive prizes (those who bought a membership/league disc). There will be leftovers, those will go towards GLOW. We had 45 people come out during the season averaging 18 people per week. THANK YOU!!!!!

Week 12 Recap - The Finale!

It was a gorgeous night at Northridge to end our 12 week long Travel Season. Thank you to EVERYONE who made it out this season. I counted 48 souls that graced us with their presence. We managed to add some new faces to the crowd. We REALLY appreciate everyone coming out and having FUN. That is what SB is about, the points and prizes are nice, but it's about playing fun rounds with all of you!

It was a gorgeous night at Northridge to end our 12 week long Travel Season. Thank you to EVERYONE who made it out this season. I counted 48 souls that graced us with their presence. That is what SB is about, the points and prizes are nice, but it's about playing fun rounds with all of you!

22 people participated in Hi/Lo dubs. Scores were TIGHT. Everyone was scrambled for those last minute points to climb the ranks. there was some last minute shuffling going on in the top 10 that is for sure.

Like last year, the two middle handicappers came out on top shooting -8, Mike Kelly/Tom Stamper. Also shooting -8 down, but we are putting an asterisks next to it, Randall/Tom V. I could have sworn Randall and Craig were together . . . :) 3rd place was Jason H/Rob B -7.

Week 11 Recap

We had 16 Britches wander around Wagner asking ourselves WHY we decided on this round. Gluten for punishment. Jason H was the BIG winner shooting hot round -9 and winning the Merch CTP on Hole 3. Brett M and Nate B both shot -4. Cody M. and Justin M. also both shooting -1. Cody also managed to win the CASH CTP last night!

That's IT FOLKS. Next week we are at Northridge for High/Low doubles. I will pair you up based on your card. This will be the FINAL points week. Thank you to everyone who came out this week!

Week 10 Recap

18 people joined us for Putters Only at Palmer. Mr Brett Marchel took it down with -5. Nice shooting! Dave Cox and Nate Barton were hot on his heels at -1, Mr. J Tindall setting the bar at E. That's it folks, we have two weeks left. Get those points while you can. Northridge next week High/Low doubles. High handicapper paired with a Low Handicap. Both players will get the points for where they finish Hard to flex start this, so we will aim for a 5:15/5:30 start. If you are coming CHECK IN so I know you are :)

Week 9 Recap

Another Bag Swap in the books. I saw a lot of frustrated faces. I love this round. Cass Long's might have been a bit much, duly noted.

We had 3 new faces Sean recruited from the parking lot. 19 total souls last night. Sean managed to take it down shooting -4, Alex Bobak close on his heels at -2, Ben/Jeremy/Matt all shooting E.

We are winding them down folks. Only 3 weeks left!!!

Week 9 - Dude Where's My Bag?

BAG SWAP tomorrow!!!! Cass Benton Disc Glof Course We are playing LONGS this time through. 4:30pm-5:30pm Flex Start. This will be Sean Dietrich's last league round until our last night on August 15th. Come say goodbye. Only a few weeks left to get those points. TRUST me, you will want a PRIZE this time around!

Week 8 Recap

We had 15 Saggy Britches show out to Toboggan for a hike plus some disc tossing.

Brett M, Sean D, Kyle M, Jason H, Cody M all played longs and everyone else played shorts.

We had some good shooting from Justin and Pat from the shorts to come in at 68 and 69 strokes respectively

Week 8 - Going Sledding?

Toboggan straight up this week. To level the playing field a bit, if you are over 930 rated you're playing longs.

We are 2/3 of the way done with the season and we have some sick prizes arriving soon to give out at end of the season on 8/15 so make sure to make as many rounds as you can to get in that top 5-6 spots to give yourself a shot at a new basket, cart, or bag!

There's pretty cool stuff for everyone, but the big ticket items seem to go first.

Saggy Britches Fundraiser Disc Clearance

League Disc Clearance EVENT!

We are going to sell the rest of our fundraiser discs at cost so we can get together funds to order our next round of fundraiser discs for Season 3 prizes.

All discs we have left are going for $9 ea, which is what the average disc cost was for our order. If you want to reserve a specific one let me know and I'll mark it for you.

Week 7 - Fozzy Dice Round

We had 7 souls come out and beat the heat 4th of July. The 3rd annual Fozzy Dice round was a hit. Justin, Shane, Kyle and Brett had no idea what they were getting into. It was fun to be had by all, the course was in pretty good condition considering how green it is right now. Sean took down BOTH CTP's last night. Even though Sean was the winner, Brett was close on his heels. The trophy will stay in Michigan with Brett for him to defend next year.

Next week is TOBOGGAN!!!

Week 6 - Belle Isle

Great fun was had by all 26 folks who came out and played the pop up course on Belle Isle. Huge THANKS to Todd Cavender who came out early at 10a to setup all 9 baskets and 18 tee pads.

Even with the smoke cover and gusts of wind the course played pretty fair with most people shooting around par.

Week 6 - Belle Isle

I designed a pop up course for Belle Isle 9 baskets we play around twice for a total of 18 with different tee pads for each shot.

Todd and I will setup the course as early as we can Tuesday afternoon, I'm working on getting Udisc ready to go as well.

It's TBD if we will do a SB round, doubles or play straight up so if you have a preference let us know.

Week 5 Recap

We had a great showing and 2 Mobs out on the course yesterday for our Glitch only round. We also bumped The Glitch Mob on speakers, which is a band that originated in 2006 in Los Angeles.

Brett and Sean tied for 1st, with Shane and John tied right behind them for 2nd.

Cash CTP went to Rich Priebe
Merch CTP went to Justin Mullins (who now has 2 glitches from back to back CTPs)

We still have 1 glitch left, yes, it's the brown one, $8 takes it next week if you want it.

Week 5 - Glitch Mob

This week is the Glitch Only Round at Freedom Park in Canton (throwing and putting)

We have 6 Glitches available for $11 each brand new, if you have some extra bring a few for friends to borrow.

The blacked out Glitch will be the Merch CTP!

Also bring your bluetooth speakers, playing music by the Glitch Mob will be encouraged!

Week 4 Recap

We had a good showing at the home course, we played Lakeshore Golds Safari, which is essentially turning Lakeshore into a pro level course for the day.

We got a lot of positive feedback and everyone had a good time playing the new layout there. I agree with everyone hole 4 needs some work for sure, it's a little too grown in, so I'll rethink that one.

We had a special appearance from Don Bush for his birthday.

Week 4 - Lakeshore Golds

Good morning everyone! Tuesday we are playing at Lakeshore with a custom layout never before played, it's developed from the original Safari Layout I designed there almost 2 years ago.

The layout has been modified to include a couple shorter technical holes but 15 of the holes are over 300ft, we have 1 eagleable 1145ft par 6 and 1 829ft par 5 as well.

I'm super excited to play this one, for rules normal lakeshore OB applies (on/over stone walls, fences, cement, in water, on roofs of buildings or shipping containers)

You will use your normal bag and play straight up.

Week 3 Recap

We had a good showing considering we played on the East Side this week, we played Starr-Jaycee with some heavy traffic from a work party, and some players whose idea of a good time is stealing the caps off dry erase markers.

A fun time was had by most as we battled each other by muting people, limiting card play until people made putts with chains, swapping discs out, and making people putt with their eyes closed.

Week 3 - Getting Ript in Royal Oak

Ript Revenge Card Game - as seen on YouTube! We will do 4 person cards and be playing Ript.

RULES:

1. Each group will get a stack of cards and you will start with 3 cards in your hand

2. All players can play one card per hole and have one card played on them per hole.

3. At each hole the CTP winner gets a card. If someone wins a hole out right that player also draws a card.

4. If a player aces a hole, they may look through the deck and choose any card.

5. The hand limit is 7 ... more

Week 2 - Cass Random Dubs

We had a heater yesterday, but once we got under the cover of the trees it cooled off.

Sean D/ Cartsen P shot a -9 to hold onto the lead, Jeremy T/Mike K were only 1 stroke back at -8.

Week 1 - New Season New Fire

We had some shooters come out the gate with some fire this week Randall with a hot -11 out the gate, Todd C / Gavin K on his heels with a -8.

We had some near misses on that ace pool, turns out when you put the basket 150ft away people can hit it.
