Final week!!!

So this is it, the point series and league are coming to a close! Tomorrow is the last installment of IPL!
$430 is going to be split between the top 12 point earners of the year and you must be present to win. At this point nothing is certain, so bring your chain bangin' asses down to the Elks Lodge and let em rip!!
We will also throw off for the perfect game pot if it goes unclaimed, see yall tomorrow!!

Week 7

LAFDA going strong for our last week in January, 38 chain smashing souls showed up for the chain bang. Congrats to Lyle taking down the men's field and Tiger winning in the lady's. We also had our first cash winner in the 50/50 carryover, Scobie!! Taking $136 but kindly leaving the carryover at $38.

Big shout out to Mike Christian for running things in my absence last night! Also to Reslock, Scobie, Common, and Nick the donkey Pacific for helping out as always!!

Week 6

34 guys and 8 ladies made it out this thursday for a rip roaring good time at the Elks Lodge! Congrats to Derek Scobie and Alyssa Tiger Borth on taking down their divisions!!

Scores are posted, however the format is changing so that points are trackable, your percentage listed is actually your score. Its the only way I could think to track score each night and league points. Remember, only your best 8 weeks count, so its anybody's game still!!

Week 5

The warmest day of winter and Barham set putting league on (insert fire emoji x3) Not only taking down the win, but also taking the perfect game (almost twice)!!! Congrats also goes out to Audrey extending her win streak in the ladies division!! The 50/50 remains intact carrying over $100 to next week.

Week 4

Week 4 was a chain smashing success as our biggest week so far. 45 dudes and 7 dudettes joined us at the Elk Lodge for a great time. Congrats to Tim Barham and Audrey Lavalley taking down their divisions! Scores will be up soon, thanks to Nick The Donkey Pacific. The 50/50 rolled over again, despite the strong efforts of Jen Trombley and Brian Fallon (nearly decapitated one of his taunters). But they both got some free Jimmy Johns and next week $73 is in the pot to start. Perfect Game pot is up to $121. See you all next week for the chain bang!

Point Series Update!!

Scores are in, thanks again to everyone for the support!!!
As for the point series, we have 3 weeks in the books with 11 overall weeks, which means I will be dropping everyone's lowest 3 weeks. Also points will be accumulated based on how may people you beat each week and not based on how many putts you make. The Scene does not have a function for me to track both your scores each week as well as the overall point series, so I will be tracking them separately via Excel. Once I get the ... more

Week 3 was a chain smashing success!!! 36 dudes and 7 ladies made it out to Elk's Lodge, congrats to Jamie Mosier on his victory with a searing hot 77, and also congrats are in order for Stacey Koos taking down the ladies division with a 50.
Chris Paquin was drawn for the 50/50 and left with a free sub. $30 carries over and next week, if the first number drawn does not get the cash, a 2nd number will be drawn for a chance at the carry over $$ from this week. See you all next year!! And have a safe and happy New year

Late update

Just about 8 hours until putting lague!!! No word from the Elks Lodge yet, but I am going to assume out room rental will be taken care of after the great turnout we had last week!!!

What's that mean for us??? The return of 50/50!!! So buy ins will be:
$5 to play (100% payout)
$2 50/50 drawing where the winner gets 2 putts through the gauntlet and gets a free jimmy johns no matter what, then a disc if they hit 1, or half the pot for hitting both
$2 for the point series (which I will s ... more

Week 1 in the books!

We had a great night at the kick off of our 2017/2018 season! 32 players joined us at The Elks Lodge for 4 lanes of fun! They were quite impressed and so were we at their great prices and good food.... they even made a beer run for more IPA!!

As for the putting... the meme master himself, The Sauce Mosier, took down the win for the men with a 66, and Tiger beat a bunch of the guys and won the ladies division with a 48!! Scores will be on the scene with on a few days.

Thursday, Dec 14th, @ The Livonia Elks Club, 31117 Plymouth Rd, Livonia, MI 48150. Reg and practice starts at 630, first games at 7.

We do singles style, $10 all in each night, with all the optional goodies

In addition, for a one time $5 you can also compete for a berth to states!!

There is a full bar and kitchen with reasonable prices!!!!
