Finale on Saturday!

Shirts just arrived in the mail!

For those of you who played 3 or more Monday night league events this year, you will get one when you come to play in the finale on Saturday. Any leftovers will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

On Saturday we will tee off at 10AM for the league finale. We'll play a round from the red tees in the morning, and after an hour long lunch break we'll play a round from the blues. There will be either a CTP or Long Putt on every hole for both ... more

There will be either a CTP or Long Putt on every hole for both rounds, thanks to the support of our local business community. During the lunch break there will be a ring of fire for some discs. After the round of blues, we will have a pizza party/ awards ceremony at Aubree's. If you have any other questions, let me know. Keep it Fresh.

Finale!!

I just paid for the shirts, they should ship early next week! Anyone playing in the finale gets a shirt as part of their entry fee. If you won't be in the finale, but would like a shirt, let me know. They're first come first serve and will be $15, with $5 of that going towards the course.

With Getz's and Casualties donating gift cards, and Downwind Sports donating $100 worth of merchandise, we now have over $500 worth of prizes donated for the finale. We will have a CTP on just about every hole for both rounds. I hope to see many of you there!

Season Finale's Getting Big

This week, we added more sponsors for the finale! The Sports Rack, Jet's Pizza, Watch It Bend, The Compound, Pomp's Tire, Ore Dock Brewing Company, Superior Outfitters, Jean Kay's Pasties, The Rice Paddy, and Toarmina's Pizza have all donated prizes. In addition to the donations we received last week, the value of donated prizes is now over $350 for the finale. See you Monday! I'll go over more details for the finale then.

Ace + News

Big ace today by Tim Kopacz on Hole 3 worth $162!!! That means the ace pool starts at zero for our last week of the season, which will be from the blue tees. I'd like to thank everyone that has made this a wonderful year so far. We've had 70 people who have played at least once this year, and at least one new person every week. Let's try to get 30 or more players out there next Monday!

Finale Update

More info on the season finale. We will be having an after party/ awards ceremony at Aubree's. I have contacted Paragon about shirts, and they will be getting back to me sometime next week to finalize a design for the shirts. Once they do that I will be placing the order. I ordered extras so if anyone wants one who hasn't let me know yet, there will be one for you.

September 12th

I would just like to thank everyone that came out today. We had 24 people including some brand new faces. The ace pool sits at $136 with just one week each of red and then blue tees. Thank you everyone who has made this a great season of disc golf at Powder Mill, it's been an honor and a privilege running this league for you guys.

The handicapped season finale tournament is coming up in less then month; I'll be putting orders in for shirts this week. If you're not able to play ... more

August 1st

Had our largest turnout of the year at 27 players, including several new faces. The $127 ace pool was cashed, with Drew Hill and Chris Parkkonen both acing Hole 3 from the red tees. Congratulations! Thanks to every one who came out, let's see if we can get 30 players next week!

July 11th

Had our biggest turnout so far this week, with 23 players showing up for a round from the blues. I'd like to thank Josh, Austin, and Drew for coming up from Esky, hope you're able to make it again sometime soon. Ace pool is currently at $61, plus whatever gets added for our next week of red tees. Hope to see all of you again and an even bigger turnout next week. Until then, keep it fresh.
