A couple of things

A Discraft Drone was found not too long ago with no name. It seems that someone lost it during the snow bowl. If it is yours message me and tell me what color it was and I'll get it back to you.

I lost my green Latitude 64 Flow this past Sunday. Someone has already picked it up I'm sure. If you see it around please let me know!

Not only that, Innova has donated 26 assorted champion plastic midranges and drivers! Many thanks for Mark for his efforts in making this happen, and for already installing the new chains on the course! Come out and help break in the new chains!

ALL 26 DISCS WILL BE PRIZED OUT DURING THE EVENT!

Top 10 doubles teams will win a disc for each player.
First place gets first choice of discs, second place second choice, and so on.
CTP disc prizes for 4 holes during the morning round.

We'll also do a fun-zy second round after lunch for those who can stick around, and we'll reserve 2 discs as prizes for that.

I'll be coordinating the day-of registration, random team/hole assignments, and score taking. Mark is leading the course prep, firepit/grill, and food coordination.

Yes, it is winter and it may be cold and slippery. Be sure to dress warmly with hats and gloves, and don't forget shoes/boots with good traction! We're hoping the parking lot will be plowed or packed down sufficiently for the event, but if you're not confident in your car's abilities, you can always park on the main road and trek in by foot.

Great weather for the last Tuesday Round and a lot of solid scores. Can't believe we actually finished before dark - good job everyone!

Random dubz starting next Tuesday at 5:15.

During the Year end bash on Sunday Sept 20th we will be doing separate deep payouts for Tuesday players & Sunday players!!!

Tomorrow - Tuesday Sept 1st - last Tuesday League Round 5:30

Start time is still 5:30 for the last Tuesday round. We will start right on time and keep groups small in order to get everyone around the course before dark.

Sunday rounds will continue to Sunday Sept 13th. Year end Bash will be held on Sept 20th.

After this Tuesday we will be organizing, "chuck a buck" doubles on Tuesday @ 5:15; for those that want to keep playing we will be doing very loosly organized random doubles - everyone throws in a buck. If there is interest we will ... more

Glow Round This Saturday @ 8:00 - Aug, 29th

Weather forecast looks perfect! Start time is 8:00.

Those super great chuckers who are going to help glow-up the course should be there for 7:00. The more the merrier when it comes to setup - very easy and kinda fun to glow stuff up, so come out and make it a great night!

Dollar store will get you some cheap glow bracelets that can be used to glow your discs inexpensively; attached to the underside of your disc with some clear packing tape. Glow discs work better with a UV flashlight ... more

It seems like every Tuesday we either have rain or a serious threat of thunder storm. Thankfully last night, it was only a looming threat. We had a few good personal bests last night. Brian Charron and Jim McCann lit it up with some excellent scores. Thanks to everyone who was patient during the scores announcements. Technology failed us momentarily and I was having a hard time using Bianco magic to get the tags right. I'll get the hang of it one of these days. Until then, you all get to su ... more

Scores & Updates - Aug 11th - And Important League Dates

Another thunderstorm dodging league round for Tuesday night. Seems like we have dodged more than a few storms this season. We may get away with 5:30 starts for another round or two; Watch for 5:15 start announcements.

Tuesday Night League will end on, Tuesday, Sept 1. Sunday morning league will go on for a few more weeks and will end on, Sunday, Sept 13th.

Also, Dollar store sells bracelet 8 packs for a buck - help out and purchase some glow bracelets that you can donate to the cause - bring them to league and give them to me, vijay or Jeff - The more you bring, the more the place will GLOW!!!

We had our 1st Ace on the new layout during league last night and a new low round was thrown. Congrats to Billy for the first league ace to the new hanging basket - a thing of beauty to behold!

We will be working on the wood between old holes 6 & 7, then moving the practice basket to the new field practice area...then some pizza and chucking. Just a little work to get the last main change to the new layout complete - come out for just an hour or so and we can get it completed easily - See You There to help ... more

TWO DISC CHALLENGE - This Sunday the 12Th

The Tickhead's Annual Two Disc Challenge (TATDC) is going to be held this Sunday July 12!!! This tourney will take the place of the usual league round.

The Tickhead's Annual Two Disc Challenge (TATDC) is going to be held this Sunday July 12!!! This tourney will take the place of the usual league round.

You don't want to miss the annual two disc challenge! We will start at 9:30; check-in begins at 9:00. Your $5 entry includes 5 CTP holes (prizes & cash), the League Ace pot & cash payouts as deep as entries allow- the more that enter the more winners there will be!

Rules and such:

1) Any two discs you like from your bag - just two for the round.
2) league points will be tracked, but no tags.
3) 4 CTP prize holes & 1 cash CTP = 5 holes. (2, 3, 7, 9, 14)
4) league ace pot applies - what ever it is plus day's total.
5) Buy-in $5. (Gets you into Ace & CTP pots) $3 goes to payout - no league cut.
6) If no ace hit $1 per entry goes instead to payout total.
7) just one round. Followed by the usual Sunday round of random doubles.

Work Day tomorrow- Friday July 3rd - flip to new course!!

If we get enough bodies we could be playing the new layout for Sunday league!!! ...so come out and help!

Starts at 9 AM. There will likely be people there a better part of the day, but come help as soon as you can.

We will be finishing pads and moving baskets and Rav will be hanging new signs if we get that far.

Two Disc Challenge - Postponed to Sunday July 12th due to Weather

First, this Sunday June 28th will be a normal League day - rain or shine, but because the forecast is for cold steady rain for the 1st half of the day we will move the Tickheads Annual Two Disc Challenge to Sunday July 12th.

So, Normal League round this Sunday instead of the TATDC. TATDC to be held on Sunday July 12th - See you then!!

New Layout - The New Course!

As most know the tractor work is now complete on the 4 new fairways. Rav has been all over that part of the project - go Rav!!

Last steps to get us all playing are first, T-Pads and once those are complete: Basket moves and some signage! Getting close!!!

Course Donations & Upcoming Event

Thanks to the Tuesday night chuckers for donating $174 to the new fairways cause! Total from Sunday to Tuesday = $319 We only need $201 to reach our goal!!

Existing hole 8 will play much the same shape, but move to roughly 500'. 1st new hole in the Beaver Brook area - new hole 9 - will be another par 4, finishing right across the brook from existing basket 14. There will be a hanging basket on new hole #3.

All in all, you are going to like the changes that are coming!! Be sure to donate as much and as often as you can. Less lopping and dragging is worth every penny/dollar ;-)
