The points system goes like this:
• Players are paired up randomly, just like usual per any random doubles league
• When the round is finished the TD will average all the scores
• If a team’s score matches the average score, each player on that team is rewarded 5 points
o For example, if the average score is 56 and Team A shoots a 56, each player from Team A receives 5 points
• If a team’s score is lower than the average, each player on that team is rewarded 5 points plus the difference of strokes vs. the average score
o For example, if the average score is 56 and Team B shoots a 53, each player from Team B receives 8 points (5 points + 3 points)
• If a team’s score is higher than the average, each player on that team is rewarded 5 points minus the difference of strokes vs. the average score
o For example, if the average score is 56 and Team C shoots a 59, each player from Team C receives 2 points (5 points - 3 points)
o Note that anyone who plays will receive no less than 1 points just for playing
• For the team who wins the round, the players from that team will receive 5 additional bonus points
o For example, if Team B from the example above had the lowest score of the day, each player would be rewarded a total of 13 points
o If multiple teams win and a playoff cannot happen to determine the winner for whatever reason, the additional 5 points are to be split amongst those who tied.
▪ Two teams tie- 2.5 pts per team
▪ Three teams tie- 1.5 pts per team (Not 1.6 points each, keep scores rounded to the nearest 0.5)
▪ Four teams tie- 1.25 pts per team
▪ Five teams tie-1 pt per team
• Aces are worth 10 additional bonus points. If an ace is hit only the player who threw the shot gets the bonus points.
• Payouts are up to the discretion of each TD and have no effect on league points.
