Hot Round and Adjusted Scores

Hello all. It has been requested to provide an explanation behind the Hot Round and Adjusted Scores.
Hot Round is a round in which a player with an average (creating a handicap), has shot the best competing against themselves versus everyone else who has obtained an average. Averages and handicaps get calculated once a player has reached 3 rounds of league play and begin getting applied to the player’s scores once 4 league rounds have been completed. Hello all. It has been requested to provide an explanation behind the Hot Round and Adjusted Scores.
Hot Round is a round in which a player with an average (creating a handicap), has shot the best competing against themselves versus everyone else who has obtained an average. Averages and handicaps get calculated once a player has reached 3 rounds of league play and begin getting applied to the player’s scores once 4 league rounds have been completed. Adjusted Scores get posted to the DiscGolfScene which helps identify to players how they are shooting compared to themselves, then compared to everyone else. The player with the best adjusted score per week, gets rewarded with a free round on their next league night play MINUS the Ace Pool and 50/50. If they choose to get into those two pools, it will only cost $2 for the evening.

Due to players feeling as if they are not getting rewarded for their efforts to shoot well, this year league members with the BEST non-adjusted score for the evening ALSO get rewarded with decreased cost for their league night play. The player(s) with the best score will receive free play on their next league night play MINUS the Ace Pool and 50/50. If they choose to get into those two pools, it will only cost $2 for the evening.

Once a player has reached 4 weeks at a particular course (Brewer South, Alternate Course, Brewer North), they get entered into a new bracket for hot round competing against those who have also created an average to a particular course. MEANING: There are up to 3 opportunities per night to get Hot Round.

Brewer North Tuesday 4/19/2016 Layout

Due to the normally extra moist land in the northeast corner of the course, the layout for Tuesday has been modified to try to keep your feet clean and dry. Course play will be South 6 SHORT, South 7, North 1, North 7-18, then South 1, South 2, and finish on South 5.
