Heritage Doubles 5/23/13
Fredrock Doubles continues tomorrow!! we will be playing the longs, so come out and lets hope somebody beats 2 over. we will meet at the Barn parking lot, repeat BARN PARKING LOT. if we run over or have a three way tie like last time we won't have to worry about getting locked in the park. looking forward to a good group this week, so don't miss out! Freestate Doubles Championship
Here's what's next for the Freestate Doubles League according to the TD Jerry Curtis. Looks like the final 4 will be Jim Hall, John Buck, Andy Slater and Eric Boger in the final, unless Steve has a couple good weeks. Hopefully that date works for you guys, maybe you all can figure out how you want to team up. Good Luck!

Freestate Doubles Championship 2013

The Freestate Doubles Championship will be held at Calvert DGC on November 3rd. Registration will be 9-9:45. A short players meeting and tee time is 10.
There will be two divisions, champions and field. To qualify for the champions division a player finish in the top four of his weekly league or in the top twenty of Freestate Doubles. In the champions division the top four players from each league may team up as they choose. The at large players in the champions division and all field players will be paired randomly.
Fee to play is $5. An optional ace pot is $2.
We will play from the blue (long) tees. After one round there will be a final nine for the teams in the champions division competing for gold, silver and bronze.
I've been in contact with dynamic discs working to get us trophies for this event. Trophies will be custom dyed discs. There will also be trophies for the top team in the field division so everyone that competes has a chance to win a custom dye disc unique to this event.
