As we recount and tally all of the scores from “The Return” all of the council would like to thank everyone that came out to play the event and even more so those whom braved one of the worst winters in recent times. We traveled countless miles and have survived blizzards, Ice storms, rum and frost bite, you should all be proud that you spit in the face of the hag ‘Ole mother nature and kept pressing on. Having said that, some of us are still going to be posting and playing games in the area, Shaffer for one is holding a Five $ freddy at Cass Benton this Sunday at 10:00 am with a 10:30 tee off. I have even heard whispers of a repeat of the famed trip to Albion and after math in the VIP room at Dark Horse going down the 27th. So keep a keen eye to the horizion as the Priates always have something heading your way…

Last round of the winter season!

Well then... 'tis April Fools day, but this is no joke. We have come to our final league round of the season. after this week we will be finishing up with our season end tournament, Battle at the Bay on the 13th before switching to Fridays for the summer.

So where do you want to play? There's been rumblings of the Gultch, but be aware that if we play there, it will have to be as a casual group of ne'erdowells and not as league as per course rules.

The winter season is coming to a close, cue the collective sigh of relief, but we still have 2 weeks remaining before we crown our victors at Pirate's Bay on the 13th of April. We currently have a tie at the top between Reslock and Minard. Reslock has made a push the last couple weeks taking first and the #1 tag each of the last two rounds. Which one will prevail and where will the #1 tag fall? Can one of you scoundrels hit the jackpot ace pool for some quick cash and 25 points to jump ... more

We didn't even have to count the votes this week, t'was damn near unanimous. Independence Lake will be sullied by our presence this Sunday. Hopefully we have some tee pads to throw from finally, been what a month or two?

Attention on deck ye dismal crew! Word has it that the famous BRATS private course has recently made for a land grab and came away with the foundation onto which a championship level course will be lain.

The pirates couldn't let this glorious news pass without a party now could we? Sunday meet up at the residence of the always hospitable Terry Calhoun and take a chance to play BRATS again before evolution changes it forever. If you've never been, get ready for a real backyard bra ... more

1-19-14 Bandamere Park

The votes have been counted and this week we sail to the northern shores of Ann Arbor on the mighty Huron to the Bandamere course. 27 tees from which to play will offer plenty of opportunities for dirty dolla's and CHA aplenty. The quarter sack will be heavily fortified as well so come with yer silver in hand to vie for your shot at the treasure.
Tee off at 10:30... unless everyone shows up early, then tee off at 10:45. CHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday 29th at waterworks.. Normally its a $5 cash round last round of the month.. But instead we are going to do a Secret Santa disc Exchange. The way it will work is you must bring a New or barely used disc or discgolf related item ($10 value or up) Wrapped with your name on it.. That will be ur entry for the cash round. At the end of the round the winners will get first choice of wrapped gift and so on down the line. (If you do not have a disc let us know in advance we will wrap some extras a ... more

With a last minute surge our crew has deemed White's Acres the next port of plunder! Home to our very own Hector Barbossa aka Todd White aka the #1 tag holder, this course holds everything from island holes to firepits and hot tubs. The ale shall flow heartily me matey's so bring yer sea legs and be prepared to ante up to the quarter sack and dirty dolla's as usual. The ship will dock at 10 and the raid shall begin at 10:30.

So with the new month approaching, our next round will follow the annual stuffing of the faces and giving of the thanks. The council has decided to attempt something new (cue grumbling and arrrrghs from the scoundrel crew). Prior to voting, 4 courses shall be plotted on the raiding map, 2 local and 2 distant ports. Voting shall hitherto commence and conclude at high noon the following Thursday.



So, with that said, enough of this palaver... cast ye vote or accept the fate dealt to ye.

The 24 Chains crew has voted to accept this invite to join Night Moose and Ypsi Dubs for a day of hearty laughs, stiff drinks and plenty of disc golf. Cass Benton prevails

The votes have been cast and crew has decided the overflowing chest of doubloons isn't enough to steer the ship north to Kensington. Instead, we travel back to good ole Cass Benton. As usual the Tarzan payout will be nice and dirty dollars will be flying all over the deck so bring yer best game and come to Cass for some true pirate style golf. Check in at 10:00 Tee off 10:30, be on time or be taxed.

Thanks to all who came and enjoyed.. Some for the shit show. Tried joining u with another league and trying a new format.. For that we have decided to award all players that made the trip 4 points..

Now as for this week.. i say we try to keep it local and get back to 24 chains golf.. As much as i would enjoy playing kensington after the lasst 2 weeks of travel i believe that we should stay local.. But that the votes be the votes. Just remember that this does not replace the cash round for the last Sunday at WaterWorks..
