Another great season with this rabble has come to a close! Our final league round was a small crowd but a fun one. We played Arthur Latham and let me tell ya, that is a rowdy course to say the least! 7 pirates total, winning the day, for the first time in their doubles history was Nels Farnstrom/Myself with a -4! The real winner though was Norm Raby with a laser beam ace on hole for taking $132 of pirate booty, CHAAAAAAA!!
The point series over there on the right side of the screen ---------- ...

Well...all that voting all for not! Ball golf courses don't make for good mob rounds so I pulled a power move! After a few solid suggestions, we are going to head to Millington (east of Frankendurp) to a wooded gem called Arthur Latham! It is said to be tight and challenging with lots of hole to donate to the quarter sack! Get off your butts and meet us up there for some good ol' shenanigans! After we will probably go to another course in the area too, CHAAAAAAAA!!!!
Reminder: Battl ...

Well, just found out some news about Marlette that will nix it from our adventure. Marlette is on a golf course (which no one seemed to know either). There is no f#@!ing way they will let us mob their course on the busiest day of the week at the busiest time of the morning. That being said, I'd still like to go that direction to play. There are some course that are near the Saginaw area that would be a ton of fun to play with the format in which we play. Wickes Woods & Tittabawassee Par ... more
What a gorgeous Easter it was for some discin! We had 11 pirates including a few new ones, CHAAA! We played all 18 plus 3 longs and we doubled down on hole 12 as well for a total of 19 holes! Tied for the W was Swanky Franky/Brett Piziali & Ryan Presnell/Myself at -9!!
This is our final week for Sunday league. As stated last week, we are gonna travel to a course less traveled to close out the season. I have heard some good suggestions and I have come up with these 4 courses. Unfortunately ...

Another beautiful day for golf! 11 pirates in total, we played 9 white & 9 red. Coming out on top was Skip Howard/Timmy Redman at -12, good shootin' boyz!
I chose to make this Sundays round at Cass due to it being Easter. I know that some of you may have family/religious obligations so I made it close to a centralized area where most pirates can come if they can then dip out fast if necessary. Typically we have been getting done at 12:30pm if it helps.
The following week is our f ...

All locations got some votes this week but our winner is Bandemer for our lovely pirate round. Looks like the weather is gonna be amazeballs so break out your shorts and lets get to some CHAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Another gorgeous spring day for some discin! 14 players came out to our final $5 Freddy round, glad ya'll could make it! Take the all important W is Cody Vance/Floyd "F-BOMB" Hampp with a -9.
With 3 weeks left of the "winter" season there are few opportunities left to make it to the top! All it takes is an ace! That being said, lets get some good ace run courses in the mix, see if someone can't snag one! Here are the choices:
Bandemer
MBD
Freedom
Brys
There ya go foos! Let the voting commence! CHAAAAAA!!!
It takes more than the threat of rain to stop us pirates from getting our weekly CHA! in. 12 players in total and tied at the top was Puttimus/Myself & Big C/Hepler with -12 for 24 sloppy holes of disc golf!
This week is our last $5 round at Waterworks for the Winter season! It is $10 all in ($5 buy in, $1 for Ace Pool & $4 for CTP's) After this week we have 3 Sundays till Battle at the Bay! After that we move to Fridays, more info on that as we get closer.
Speaking of close, ...

Another fun day with the pirates! 10 came out to Fire Fighters and taking the W was Chris Izeluk/Myself with a -10! This week we go to Willow for some good ol' shenanigans. Hopefully it isn't too muddy, but it probably will be so come prepared and most of all don't whine about it, CHAAAA!!
Well it came down to a tie & since I am looking to play somewhere with pads I was forced to cast a vote (which I normally try to stay out of). Since I decided to go the way I went, I will compromise! This week we will be headed to Firefighters for some good ol' CHAAAA!! Next week I will make it Willow to make it fair. Hope to see many pirates & perhaps some local east siders as well, CHAAAAA!!
14 brave pirates took on the Monster at Hudson Mills! We played 24 holes from the short tees to the champ baskets. Taking down the W was Dan Lee/Big C with a -10!
Here is what voting looks like so far:
Firefighters - 1
Willow - 1
Bandi - 1
MBD - :(
You know what ties bring, considering the snow I'd think ya'll pirates would want some pads to play on...keep the votes coming, CHAAAAA!!
It's time to cast yer vote for another awesome pirate round! There is only a couple of places we have yet to conquer this season (mainly because no one wants to go there) but I put them up for voting again this week!
MBD
Firefighters
Willow
Bandi
Let's see where this goes....CHAAAAAAA!!
The vote was heard and to da Mills is where we set our sails! Remember that the time moves an hour forward. If you don't change it and you wake up at 9am it is really 10am and you'll miss out on all the CHAAAAAAAA!!
Another fun day at Pirates Bay! Only 8 pirates but fun non the less! Chris Izeluk/Myself taking the W with a -10, great round partner!
This week we will go back to the voting booth! Here are the choices:
Bandemer
Willow
Firefighters
Hudson Mills
CHAAAAAAA!!!
What great turnout for a course so far away! Thank you to all who came to play, it was a great day! 17 pirates total & taking the W is Puttimus/Brandon with -7!
This week we go to our home port for some $5 Freddies! You know the drill, it's $10 all in with the side shtuff! Dirties, quarters, shenanigans & of course CHAAAAAAAAA!!!
Well after a long hard fought voting process we have a clear winner. We will be playing the great Vicksburg DGS! I would plan some carpooling if it suits you. Hope to see a lot of pirates make the trip, CHAAAAAAA!!!
Can I catch a ride with someone and I'll throw ya gas money?
Hey there pirates! It is nearly Friday so the voting is near its end. Since our options got a little screwed up, here is what was voted for & who voted for it:
For Vicksburg - Hepler, Puttimus, Jimmy Jean, Big C. = 4 votes
For RoMo - Bo, Hyzertron, Ben = 3 Votes
For Oshtemo - Shaffer, Joe...
...since Oshtemo is a no go I am allowing those 2 pirates to revote. A tie will result in a trip to Knollwood. I did hear some grumbling about that course but Shaffer says that they do have tee p ...

Thanks to all who joined us on Sunday, it was gorgeous out there! BIG thanks to Todd White for not only hosting us on his awesome course, but also for donating some great CTP's as well! We played 2 rounds of 11 holes. The scores reflect the +/- and not the actual strokes made. Winning the was Timmy Redman/Skip Howard with a -14! Kzoo is still undecided. I will make a post when we know for sure where we are playing! CHAAAAAAAA!!!
Well, we learn new things all the time! So Ft Custer is gone, Oshtemo has a rather large singles league on Sundays. So we are really just down to 2 choices, Robert Morris & Vicksburg. So here is the votes so far:
RoMo - 1
Vicksburg - 2
If you already voted you can re-vote for one of those 2 courses. Voting ends next Friday! CHAAAAAAA!!!!
Hey there ya dirty scoundrels!! Here are the votes so far for the round we will be playing on the 26th:
Oshtemo - 3
Vicksburg - 2
RoMo - 1
If you are planning on joining cast a vote (if you haven't previously done so). CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Well Brighton Rec was a wonderful mess! We had 13 pirates in total. Despite the mud it was a blast! Swider/Calhoun finding red numbers with a -1 for the win!
This week we are being invited to one of our favorite places play, WHITES ACRES! I want to remind everyone who is attending that this is a private residence. Take care in treating Todd's property with the utmost respect. That means all your trash stays with you until you find a place to throw it away. Be careful not to damage anyth ...

We are planning to sail on out to Kalamazoo the final week of February. I felt that giving everyone a few weeks to plan was a solid idea. So the bigger question remains, where do we play? So far the resounding response to that question is Oshtemo which was my vote. But I'll leave it to all you lovely pirates! Here are 4 courses with solid ratings per DGS. If you have another suggestion please share it. Please remember to vote once on one course only (not sure why I have to keep saying I do). Here they are:
OSHTEMO
VICKSBURG
ROBERT MORRIS
FT CUSTER REC
Get to it, CHAAAAAAAA!!!!
As long as you're not playing fucking Knollwood I am down for what ever. And remember also that RoMo costs $5 per vehicle to get in. Sorry Ben.
Since it is the weekend after Ben's birthday I will probably at home with Lillian while he goes so I am out this time.
Brighton rec has finally added 9 more holes and let me tell ya, they're rowdy!! It has been almost 3 years since we have been there so this will be a good time. There is A LOT of trees so make sure you bring them quarters. Depending on time we may try and safari a few if the ADA holes like we did last time if you can remember that far back. CHAAAAA!!!!
Another solid mid winter showing with 17 pirates, CHAAAA!! Gustafson/Reslock with the big -15 taking the W, great shooting partner!! Thank you to Shaffer for the pre round CTP! Big thanks to Ben Calhoun for the awesome in round CTP's, much appreciated!!
Next week is the first Sunday of the month so you know what that means, $5 Freddy round is in effect! As always we tee at 10am! See ya all out there, CHAAAA!!
Thank you to all who participated in the voting process, you country is proud of you! It was a tight race and there was a clear winner, Lakeshore!! Fear not those who voted Brighton Rec, the round on 2.12.17 will be there! We will meet at 9:30am & tee of at 10am, see ya'll there, CHAAAAAAAA!!
Lots of extra prizes from the Throw Shop tomorrow, don't wuss out it's a nice forecast for WINTER, even if it's been warmer lately!
Here is where we are at with voting thus far:
BRIGHTON REC - 4
LAKESHORE - 3
WILLOW - 1
MBD - :(
Let your voice be heard! Voting ends Friday at Noon, CHAAAAA!!
It was a great weekend for some disc golf! Portage proved to be a very good course to play, it wasn't muddy in the slightest! Ninja/Nels got the W with a -8, good shooting fellers! Thank you to 127 Disc Golf & WC Glow for the CTP prizes! Thank you Stevo for hooking our newcomers up with some DFL discs!

CAST YER VOTE YA SCURVEY DOGS!!! CHAAAAAA!!!
It has been a minute but we are headed out to Grass Lake for some pirate fun. I suggest some boots because I hear it is a little poopy out there! (as is everywhere except Lakeshore). Also might catch some rain out there to. Be prepared! CHAAAA!!!
Should be good after 55 deg day tomorrow. Will be there early to clean off any muddy pads I come across. CHA!!!
Here is the breakdown of voting from here & BookFace:
Portage - 3
Willow - 1
Firefighters - 1
MBD - 1
Reminder...pick one not "this one or this one" does that make sense? Voting ends at noon tomorrow, CHAAAAAA!!
Another solid turnout with 17 pirates! Ben & Flea Calhoun with the W at -7, great shooting! Here are the choices for this week:

Home of the "world record" quarters pot... Big Portage Lake. CHA!!!
The masses have spoken! We will be headed to the Gulch for some good ol' CHAAA!! See ya'll there, 9:30am meet, 10am tee off!!
Great to see so many brave pirates out there this week! It was a real feel of -4 degrees at tee off! We had 15 players and we play a mixed variation of tees that included the new 12 holes! Plantz/Swider came away with the W at -9, well done!
Here is a look at the voting so far this week. I appreciate the increase in voting this week:
Gulch - 6
Willow - 2
Firefighters - 1
MBD - :(
The Gulch is running away with it! Voting ends Friday at noon. Remember, ties result in a trip to pirates bay! CHAAAAA!!
I will recap last weeks round up later but in the meantime, lets figure out where we're going this Sunday! Hmmm, where have we not gone yet?
How about:
WILLOW
MBD
FIREFIGHTERS
GULCH
Do it! CHAAAAAA!!
Reminder: When you vote, only one counts. Either vote here or on Facebook, not both...Phipps!
Lets try this again! Last time it snowed 6" - 8" while we were there and a whopping 5 people came to brave the elements! I am hoping that we don't get another massive snow storm this time but you know Michigan. We will be making a go of all of them if we can so bring your A game & possibly some dirties & quarters too. CHAAAAA!!!
Thank you to everyone who came out, it was a great time!! Big thanks to WC GLOW, Norm Raby, Skip Howard, Stevo, Scottie Reslock (yes I just thanked myself) & Rob Shaffer for their added CTP's & donations, much appreciated!!
We had 28 players total, great turnout! Ben Calhoun/Nick Pacific (Donkey) took the W with -11. Ben Calhoun took the $135 ace pool on hole #4 white, Congrats ya bagger!
Again, thanks to everyone who participated in this event. It is a great tradition that we will continue to uphold for years to come, CHAAAAA!!!
I hope everyone had a great Xmas holiday!
Just a reminder that our disc exchange is coming up this Sunday at Waterworks in Ypsi. It sounds like we may get raided by an unnamed local club so even though the "tourney" page isn't full there is gonna be a pretty good turn out (I hope). It's gonna be a fun day so get out here and ring in the new year with some CHAAAAAA!!!
That is correct, this Sunday is Christmas so league will take a one week furlough!
That being said, I am usually done with my xmas shiz by 1pm or so. I am thinking about getting a game going at Cass or Bandi if anyone is interested. Give me a holla if you might be down. My # is on my profile and I don't think I have any restrictions on who can view it. Or you can just shoot me a message here. I will say I am shooting for a 2pm Tee Off.
Also, a reminder that the following Sunday, Janua ...

I'm on call all day but I may be able to play bandi, we will just have to communicate that day
Looks like decent weather Christmas day, I may be down for Bandi after noon time. LMK Scotty.
Well, thank you to the 2 people that took 3 seconds out of their busy schedule to vote for a course (implied sarcasm). It was a tie but I will add my vote for Cass since it is supposed be a pretty poopy weekend. If your pirate enough to join us we will be meeting at 9:30am and teeing off by 10am. It looks like it might be pretty cold so be prepared! CHAAAA!!!
I created a "tournament" page for this event. If you plan on joining us for this fun event please add your name to the comments so I can get a feel for who is coming. CHAAAA!!
It was a wild day of disc golf I can tell you!! We started with 3" of snow on the ground and left with at least 6" total. 5 brave pirates went on that journey and all 5 made it back. We played 1-3, The new 12 extras, A - F, 13 - 18. B/Rico & Phipps/Reslock tie with a -1.
This week will between these locations:
Cass
Firefighters (troy)
Willow
Portage (grass lake)
CHAAAAAA!!!
I thought about making this week a vote but I already knew what the verdict would be! That being said we will be sailing to (IMO) the best course in the area! We will be integrating the new holes so this will be at least a 24 hole affair! Bring yer quarters, dirties & plenty of CHAAAA!!!
Each year around Christmas we have a disc exchange. Bring a disc or discs around $15 or so wrapped in something (xmas paper, bag, box, newspaper, etc.). At the conclusion of the round based on how well you scored each player (that brought a gift) will get to pick a gift out of what everyone brought. It is really a ton of fun. In years past we have had a pretty good turn out so lets keep that going!
It is always held at Waterworks in Ypsi. It is also a $5 Freddy round which will only add to t ...

It was a wonderful day at Bandemer, we had 8 players total! Tied at -12 we had Redman/Reslock & Nels/Pizi! Congrats to Jeff Hepler with an ace on hole #4 red. He netted $64 & 10 extra points!
This week is our monthly $5 Freddy round at waterworks! CHAAAA!!

Sorry for the delay on the post but I was on vacations so deal with it! Lol This week we will do another vote. I will keep it somewhat local so here are your choices:
MBD
Bandi
Indy
Gulch
I will post results this Friday, cut off for votes is noon!
I said "some what close" and they do fit that description. And no 24 Cha!ns is not playing at a church on a Sunday so...
Like we do every year, we will be taking a week off and meeting up with (raiding) Ypsi Dubs & Night Moose to start the 7th annual point series! This year Terry Calhoun will be hosting it at BRATS (where we were last week), unlike previous years when it was at The Farm House. There will be 2 rounds. Ypsi Dubs tees of at 10:30am. There is an intermission after that which is usually a chili cook off. I am not sure what the deal with that is but I am sure no one would be pissed if you decided to ... more
Scottie you are awesome. Yes if you want to bring Chilly or something to pass please do. Chilly and i will be bringing Chilly and if we have a few more I will make sure there is something worthwild for the best chilly in Da House. Looking forward to seeing my waywards Pirate brothers and sisters.
Thanks for the follow up Foz! Am I correct on the 1030am tee off?
Thanks to all that came out, it was a great day indeed! An even bigger thanks goes out to Terry & Sheila Calhoun for letting our ugly mugs stink up their amazing course!!
We had 16 players in total (which made me happy!) We played blue & red tees. Ben Calhoun/Stevo takes the W with a -8, good shooting fellas! Next week will actually back at BRATS! There is another post coming for that soon!
The votes are in and Terry Calhoun will be hosting this rabble to a wonderful day of golf a BRATS in A2!! It is a beautiful course so if you have never played it come on out. Please remember to clean up after yourself you scurvy dogs! Terry says he will have brats & burgers on the grill too! Also it is Flea & Ben's daughter Lillian's 1st Bday so show some love! We will tee at 10am, buy in is $3 and as always quarters & dirties will be flying!! Thanks Terry! CHAAAAA!!
Time is almost up and so far we are not going to do the below choices, instead Waterworks is in the lead, which I'm fine with but I thought maybe, just maybe ya'll would want to make it interesting. You 24 hours so ya know, vote! CHAAAA!
No longer able to attend. Job interview. My vote doesn't count later, I know.
Wonderful day for a round! We played all 27 holes, Nelz took the W with a +1. This week I am leaving it to 1 of 4 choices:
BRATS
Burchfield
Willow
Stony Creek
Make sure you exercise your right to vote, not just here but on November 8th as well! CHAAAAAA!!
Get them to vote! If there is a tie we defalt to Waterworks so...
Yesterdays round started off soggy but it turned out to be a great day for some pirate disc golf! Puttimus/Nels took the W with a -8.
Let see if we can get a bigger crowd next week! We will be at Pirates Bay for our first $5 Freddy round of the Fall/Winter Season! CHAAAAA!!!!
Probably too late to get the word out- but a switch to Hudson Mills to be there for the memorial round for Bill Gilbert after? Would be nice if that could happen.
The votes are in and Cass is where this ship will be docking! We will meet at 9:30am and get to throwing at 10am, CHAAAAA!!!
Not quite a huge turnout but that was to be expected going so far away from home, Puttimus/Reslock taking down the W at -8 (-12 course par). Happy Bday to Swider who came to play dressed as a pirate, CHA!!
This week we will keep it in the area, so here is what you're voting on:
CASS
BANDEMER
INDENPENDENCE
MARY BETH DOYLE
There they are ya scallywags!! Voting ends Friday at noon!
After much consideration it is decided that we will be going to Holly to start things off for the season. Other locations sounded great but Holly is a solid course, it isn't ridiculously far away & we also have never done a league round there (as long as my tenure has ran anyway). Bring yer dirties and a lot of quarters for this one because we will be playing the back six!! CHAAAAAAA!!
If anyone wants to carpool from the Northville,Livonia,Plymouth area hit me up!!
I got out of my meeting! Its my birthday.Chaaaa! Expect to see a pirate on the course. Yarr!
To kick off our season I think it is fitting to play somewhere epic!! I'd like to get some feedback from fellow pirates on where we should go. We have a little less than 2 weeks to decide so lets get to it!
There are 2 automatic exceptions so pay attention. IDYLWILD is being planned already for another time so don't vote for that.THE DOJO is also off limits because it is closed for the season so that is also a no go. Don't look foolish by voting either of them because it shows ...
