April 20th Earth Day Event McCourtie (we need your disc donations!)
Grand River Union is planning on participating in the McCourtie Park Earth Day Celebration on 4/20 at McCourtie Park from 10am til 2pm. I'm pretty sure it is on the other side of the park across the river, but I'm not positive.
We would like to set up a booth with a basket so that people can putt around and experience disc golf a little and we would like to give kids discs. The club has some discs already (Thanks to Ben Calhoun at the Throw Shop at Lakeshore), but if you would l ...

Windy Day at Jackson College
We had 4 Pros and 9 Ams come out to Jackson College today for 18 windy holes. It was a little chilly but thankfully the rain stayed away.
Curtis battled the wind the best out of the Pros and shot a -2 to take the win and $20 for first place.
Clark Vinton won the day for the Ams with a stellar -3 taking first place and $25 in merch. Chad and Freeland tied for second with their scores of +5. Chad Won the throw off and took second and $15 merch, Jeff took $5 for third place.

2024 Season is Underway!!! (scores posed)
Sorry it took me a minute to post scores, we were still figuring out how to do scoring.
We are changing the way we do points for the leagues. We are trying to reward players for showing up, reward throw off winners, and be more player friendly.
For doubles, your team will get 2 points for showing up. Cali gets 2 points too and counts as a team for points. Your team will get 2 points for any team you beat or tie. Your team will get 2 bonus points for first place, which means if ther ...

Lots of flies at McCourtie
We had 5 Pros and 12 Ams come out for 18 holes of singles at McCourtie Park this Thursday. There were lots of bugs but the scores didn't suffer too much. Hopefully we get a really cold night or two soon and they all die.
Curtis pulled off another win among the Pros with his -4 taking first place and $15. Red Beard was close behind with his -3 for second place taking $10 last cash.
In the Am division, Zach White and Chad Jeppesen tied at the top with their 54, even Pars. Zach ... more
