2022 Ship Rock Summer Solstice Series

The 2022 Ship Rock Summer Solstice League is a 10 week PDGA singles league, held at Ship Rock DGC Every Tuesday from May 31st to August 2nd and run by Lancaster County Disc Golf Club (LCDGC). The following divisions will be initially offered:

MPO
FPO
MP40
MA1
FA1
MA2
FA2
MA3
MA40
MA50

Other divisions will be considered based on interest.

Prizes will be awarded each night for the top players in each division (number of payouts dependent on players in the division). Pro divisions(MPO, FPO, MP40) are paid in cash, and Ams are paid in merchandise vouchers at Play It Again Sports Lancaster.

The league is also a points series, where players are awarded points each night, and over the course of 10 weeks get to keep their best 7 scores. The top players in each division will receive a trophy/prize as the series winners, provided they have attended a minimum of 7 league events.

Points are awarded similar to PDGA points. You get 2 points for every player you tie or beat.

Everyone is welcome to the league, and a PDGA membership is not required to play. You also do not have to be LCDGC member.

By participating in the event, you must agree to the PDGA waiver below on COVID-19:

EVENT PARTICIPANT COVID-19 WAIVER:

"I understand that participation in this event carries with it risk of injury or death and I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, administrators, executors, and assigns expressly release, forever discharge, and hold harmless the 2021 Ship Rock Summer Solstice, Travis Dombach, Lancaster County Disc Golf Club and the PDGA (the "Releasees") for all personal injury, loss, damage to property, or death in connection with my participation in this event. Further, I understand and acknowledge that there currently exists a global pandemic associated with the disease COVID-19, that I am participating in this event at my own risk, that any safety precautions designed to protect against the spread of COVID-19 undertaken by the Releasees does not guarantee I will not contract COVID-19, and that, the foregoing notwithstanding, it is my specific intent to affirm my foregoing release of the Releasees with respect to any personal injury, loss, damage to property, or death I may experience from COVID-19 in connection with my participation in this event."
