Devotional Epilogue 11/5/17

We will be meeting at Knob Hill at 945 on Sunday to play a free rated round.

We'll be dumping tags and hucking discs so stop by before putting league to get some disc golf in.

Playing rain or shine as long as we have enough propagators there. This will be the official conclusion to the PDGA rated Sunday rounds.

This Sunday 10/29 will be the Devotional league playoffs and final payouts for the season.

We will be playing 2 rounds!
The first round will be from the BLUE tees (PDGA Rated)
The second round will be from the WHITE tees

Thank you to the 29 people who played yesterday. It was a pretty perfect day for disc golf.

Dan Horwat laid a smack down on Knob Hill, won the open division and bested the field with a hot 48

Adam Couture & Robin White shared 1st place in the Advanced division with a pair of 54's

Anthony Prior beat up on the Intermediate division again with nice 52.

Thank you to the 26 players who joined in a breezy blue round at Knob Hill on Sunday.

Joe Genco & Ron Hosek topped the Intermediate field with a pair of 65's

Robin White beat his 2 other competitor's in the Advanced division with a 64

Chris Deitzel bested the field and the Open division with the hot round of the day a 56.

Looking forward to seeing everyone out at Knob Hill next weekend for a White tee round to wrap up the regular season.

We will be joining the Schenley League Finals this Sunday!

This week the entry fee will be $2.00 ($1 for PDGA, $1 for Playoff Pot) with an optional $1.00 Ace Pot (Devotional Ace Pot Currently $200.00, 1st round only)

The Devotional buy in is completely optional, you DO NOT have to buy in to the Devotional this weekend to play in the Schenley league finals.

However, you must buy into the Schenley league finals to participate in the Sunday Devotional.

Everyone played the long (Blue Tees)

Chris Deitzel lead the pack, topped the field and the open division with a 65.

B. J. Reiher took the 3 man race in the advanced division with a 69.

Had a really awesome day on the mountain, I hope everyone else did as well!

Sunday Devotional Results 7/16/17

Thank you to the 37! people that showed up today!

That was our biggest turn out to date.

Chris Deitzel showed everyone how to conquer Knob white tees by posting the hot round of the day and the winning Open division with a score of 50.

Robin White not only won the Advanced division with a 54 but also crushed an ACE on hole #5 to become the 2nd person this year to take the $200.00 ace pot home.

Brian Keegan & Dane O'Brien split the intermediate division with a solid couple of 58's

4/9/17 Devotional Update

We are going back the league home course Knob Hill Park.

Due to less than ideal course conditions we will play the White tees this week.

Don't worry, we will be back to Moraine later this year! We will still be traveling the last Sunday of every month on double points. This month I have tentatively scheduled to play at Camp Kon-o-Kwee; pending permission. If that doesn't work out it will be Moraine again. As always, I will keep everyone posted with updates

Due to this information I have decided to relocate the league this week to Moraine State Park.
In general the forecast for the next few weeks in April look pretty poor. After this weekend we will play attempt to go back to Knob if the conditions allow. Otherwise, Linbrook Park will be the weekly location until Knob is in more playable shape.
I apologize for the inconvenience to anyone who was counting on playing Knob Hill but I believe this is the right decision at this time.

The reserve Ace pot has been capped at $200.00 and a 2nd Reserve Ace Pot will now be started. If the 2nd Reserve Ace pot reaches $200.00 I will start adding the pot money directly into the main pot and will leave it run until someone hits an ace.

If the weather is nice leading up to the weekend we will be heading back to Knob Hill to play from the white tees.
If the weather is poor or the course is closed we will head to either Linbrook Park (Long/Shorts) or back to Moraine (Blue Tees) to allow Knob a breather.

In any case I will post here and the community page with the location.

No matter the location we will tee off at 10am so please sign in at 9:45

TRAVEL WEEK

This weekend the Sunday Devotional League is traveling to Moraine State Park. Rain or shine.
We will be playing the Blue Tees. It will feature a PDGA rated round and double league points!

We've had 27 total participants through 2 weeks and hope to see another good turn out this weekend.
