2016 Champs!

A new name will be engraved on the Stony Cup this year! Skyler Stoker won it by shooting a -5 on the super tough 'Round The Outside layout! Great round, great season, great playing and a great attitude! A worthy champion!

In the doubles playoff it came down to the last hole where Brandon Oleski made a great death putt, par save to clinch the win, the 2016 doubles title and an Innova Discatcher Pro 24! Way to go B!

Season #13 in the books! It was such a great year! Thanks for playing with us this year everyone. I hope you all enjoyed it! Can't wait to do it all again in 2017!

2016 Playoffs

This Friday the 16th is the last day to get points.

Next Friday the 23rd will be the semi final round. If all 6 players can agree on a different day or earlier time on Friday they can playoff then. Otherwise it will be at 5:55 on Friday the 23.

Sunday the 25th will be the final round. Again, if everyone in your final 4 agrees to move the time or date of your final round you may. The default date is set for the 25th.

Week 25

Its gonna be absolutely gorgeous up at Stony tonight. Im gonna bring up the Stony Cup and a brand new Innova Discatcher for some...perspective.

Layout is Fairway or OB on a new 13 hole loop. Blue 1 & 2 short, 3 - 6 long, skip over to 15 Island from the short, then 16 - 18 then Green 10, 11, and a temp hole.

Club CTP tonight includes a McBeth Grand Slam Destroyer and a club shirt. Oh yes!

Ace pool will probably be worth $300 tonight!

Skyler destroyed us again! He beat 2nd place 6 strokes! Plus he won the hot round and the cash 50/50 walking away with just shy of $150 tonight! BOOM!

Week 23 Results: ACE!

Matt V aced hole 5 Blue for ace #17 on the 2016 season. But Matt unfortunately didn't get into the ace pool this week so he only gets the 3 extra league points and the ace pool grows to $196 for next week.

Skyler takes down another win in singles this week moving him closer to that first round bye week. Nice job!

In doubles... Its just super tight! Tony V gets up into the playoff picture with that win. Everyone please check your league points to make sure they are correct!

For both divisions the top 8 players make the playoffs. The top two get a first round bye week while the other 6 playoff for 2 spots in the finals. We still have a few weeks to go. Aw dang!

It turned out to be a very nice night for golf tonight! About 40 of us showed up tonight so we all played the same layout.

King Stony shoots -5 (49) in singles and team Moreno/McIntyre shoot -6 (48) in doubles. The two Jeffs split the hot round side bet because Myagi wasn't in it this week. Oh man!

McCool wins the Club CTP w the signed Shrimp Compass, E.R. Sr. wins the 50/50 and the ace pool will start at $66 for next week.

Yep 3 aces tonight. Thats 16 for the season. Skyler Stoker aced 15 on the Blue and Rick Long and Alex J both aced hole 5 on the green. You guys are ridiculous!

Chris Laity wins pro with a -8 playing Blue longs, short 1 & 2 w island 15. He went on to beast Skyler in a playoff for the extra loot and the extra league point. Nice win Chris. Next time enter the hot round side bet. Skyler walked away with over $100 in cash tonight. Also very nice!

Week 18 Results:

92 degrees at tee off tonight for the 'Round the Outside layout. Super tough layout, grueling conditions...it was awesome :)!

- 6 was the hot round score. It was shot in doubles but both players were not in the side bet so -5 by team Ward/Burish won an extra $48 in cash on top of 2nd place.

Adkins won the 50/50 with a sweet sky thumber up into the sunset and King Stony and John Sand won the club CTP's.

Week 16 Results:

Storms were threatening tonight but we were able to play the round and all the post round stuff without a drop.

MAJOR PLAYOFF ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

EIGHT players will now make the playoffs.

The top TWO point earners from each division will get a first round bye week.

SIX players will now make the semi finals. TWO players will advance to compete in the finals.

The format is SINGLES in both divisions for both playoff rounds.

Our League Finals Tournament is in September. All are welcome to play but some will be playing for just a little extra bling! Our Pro champ gets a nice payday and their name emblazoned onto the Stony Cup. The Am champ this year wins a brand new Innova Discatcher.

Another ace! This time it was Jeff McIntyre acing hole 18 on the Green course today. Nice shot Jeff! That makes 9 aces in our first 10 weeks of league! WOW!

Week 10: Round the Outside

If we get rain on Friday or the course is not packed and we have less than 70 players we will play the new "Round The Outside" layout this week. Holes 4 thru 10 on the Blue course then holes 7 thru 18 on the Green course. We may skip hole #13 Green to make an 18 hole track. If we all play the same course the Hot Round side bet will return to the original Doubles vs Singles and will be huge!

If Its dry and the course has lots of casuals, Am's will play best shot doubles on the Green course and the Pro's play singles on the Blue course.

Week 9 Results: 2 More Aces!

Both hole 13's got hit tonight. On the Blue it was Kyle Z and on the Green it was Bart! Nice job guys!

Herzog takes it down in the pros and the doubles went into an epic playoff until team G Hyzer and John Andare finally took the W!

Two aces tonight. Scott K aced hole 6 on the Green and Chef aced hole 7 on the Blue which was also the 50/50 hole for the pros. They split the $132 ace, Josh got an extra $26 for the 50/50 and they both won 3 extra league points. Boom! Boom!

Week 8

Pros: Blue longs. Stroke play
Doubles: Green longs. Best shot

Club CTP will be for a CE Firebird FX and a club shirt. Oh yes! It will be a post round throw off with two winners. Closest player gets a choice between the disc or the shirt.

50/50 CA$H CTP's will be one for each division. There may not be enough daylight to do two post round CTP throw offs yet.

Shirts and discs will be distributed by a first come first serve basis. Every members gets a colored shirt and a star destroyer.

Week 7 Results: ACE!!!

Another ace! Ray Blain gets hole 2 on the Green for $114 and 3 league points.

In singles Ryan Herzog shoots a +15 Stableford on this very hard track. He wins $50 plus an extra $32 for the hot round.

In doubles team Dalton/Ward won in a playoff taking home $80 in plastic and $48 in cash!

Because of the Stableford scoring, the DGS is giving me a hard time entering the scores. I will get them in asap.

Oh yes and 64 players tonight! Thats an all time record I do believe. Boom!

POST ROUND 50/50 CTP CONTESTS!

Club CTP like last week will have one for each division. The two winners will throw off for first pick of the merch that includes a brand new 2016 club shirt, star destroyer, $8 TGI Fridays card and more.

Week 6 Results: ACE!

This night was dominated by Mike Walker Sr.
- Won Open for $50
- Shot the hot singles round for $30
- Aced hole 5 for $104
- Won the 50/50 post round throwoff for $44

$228 when it was all said and done. Nice job sir!

Doubles was won by team ER / Andare in a playoff. They will be getting that extra league point, $66 payout plus the $46 hot round side bet. Also nice!

Thanks to all the cool peep for helping out Tony V, J Ride, Hamel, Tom C and more. Things run so smooth because of your help!

If we get less than 40 players we will all play the same course so that ctp will be a nice and hefty. The Club CTP will be worth at least 4 discs tonight. Thank you Brent Moreno for the sweet donations.

Cash 50/50 CTP will be a post round game. So make sure you throw off for that cash after your round and before you leave.

Week 5 Resuts: ACE!

Eric Roberts cleans up tonight with the doubles win shooting -10 on the Green shorts. He capped off their round by acing their last hole. It was also the cash 50/50 hole. He left with about $300 in cash on top of the doubles payout! Nice job ER!

Pro was won by Skyler shooting -1 on the Blue 18 longs, fairway or OB layout w short 1, 2 & 15 and island 15.

I'll have scores up sometime this weekend.

Week 15 Format and Layout

Pro singles will be played on the Blue. It's a new format. 18 holes, Short 1, 2 & 15, Island 15, Fairway or OB.

OB areas will be considered a hazard and you always shoot from where your disc lands. There are no drop zones or re tees due to landing OB.

Hole 1: short, left and long is OB. The right rough is NOT OB.
Hole 2: Both sides of the fairway all the way down is OB.
Hole 3: Right side of the fairway up to the walking path is OB.
Hole 4: Right side of the fairway is OB.

We will be playing shorts for another week. Which course(s) we use will depend on how many people we get. So nice having two courses to use. Ace pool will be worth near $300! Good weather on tap too!

Week 4 Results

Man what a night! We used both courses tonight. 36 ams played 18 shorts on the Blue and 22 pros played 18 shorts on the Green.

Bart shoots -9 winning pro and taking over $70 tonight.
JB and Enoch win doubles in a playoff taking home a nice prize for a -11.

Week 2 Results

The weather wasn't as bad as expected. We stayed dry and stayed above freezing! 49 players came out for battle!

Hot round was -11 but both players again were not in the Hot round side bet. So team Mike Walker 2.0 and Bryan Burish -9 took the cash.

Mike Walker 1.0 took the $38 CTP and Hamel Herzog somehow split the club CTP.

Ace pool is at $96.

Week 2 Results

Young Henry Theodorof and Brent Moreno tear up 18 shorts on the blue with a -11. 50 and pretty gusty tonight. Brent also won the $40 ctp.Nice going guys. Too bad you both didnt get into the hot round side bet. Oh snap!

John Hamel won the club ctp including the Ron Russell signed Comet!

The Hot round was won with a -9 by Brandon Oleski. 3 other players split the rest of the cash with -8's

Week 1 Results

WOW! 27 Pros and 25 Ams tonight. What a great start to the season!

Skyler Stoker was the big winner. He shot a -11 taking home $66 in singles and $76 for the hot round side bet = a new record of $142 FTW!

TY Alfano and ER scooped up the extra points on the very nice CTP's tonight!

The players who didnt get paid out can grab your prizes next time you come out!
