38 players wrapped up the 2013 regular season by playing what many are calling the toughest course of the year on a beautiful evening at Orchard Park this week.
Brody Cannon and David Zimmerman were the hot shooters with -16, just edging out Jason Powell and Nick Marshall (-15).
Matt Schroeder aced hole 1 to grab the $81 ace pot and the Portland Mobile Disc Lab bounty (Prodigy prototype putter).

47 players enjoyed another awesome evening of disc golf at Orchard Park this week. The teams of Chris Hill/Jim Morris and Brody Cannon/Jaron Carlson both shot -16, but it was Chris and Jim that came out on top in the throw-off.
There were no aces this week - $45 rolls into next week's pot.

47 players enjoyed another great evening of golf at Orchard park this week. Two teams toyed with perfection, but it was Chris Hill and Tom Berg who prevailed in the throwoff, edging out the team of Josh Pierce and Carlos Garcia.

Another hot night at Orchard Park this week! After seeing team after team barely miss out on the elusive perfect round this year, we had two on Tuesday night. Brody Cannon and Marco Morales edged out Andrew Nava and Steven Sines in the throw-off for the win. To top it off, there were two teams at -17 as well.
There were 50 players this week.

Hot weather equaled hot scores this week. The teams of Brody Cannon/Marco Morales and Michael Starns/Paul Compton both shot near-perfect rounds of -17 with Brody and Marco winning the playoff. Six teams shot -16. We had 50 players total this week.
Kent Smothers aced hole 5 to win the $48 ace pot. Kent also won a Dynamic Discs Renegade donated by Josh Jones. Andy Black was CTP on hole 9 and won a Tuesday Twos Teebird donated by Rainy Day Games.

48 players enjoyed a great night for golf. Warm and just windy enough to make you question your shot. Ben Gookin and Matt Schroeder tied with Nick Marshall and Mike Blair at -16, and it was Ben and Matt who took the victory.

A blazing hot afternoon turned into a pretty pleasant evening to huk discs this week. 41 players were challenged by what some are calling the toughest course we've played all year (modified holes 2, 4, 5, 6, and 9). Luis Nava and Dean Hicks teamed up for the win with -14. Alex Seaman and Dave Clement were right behind with -13.
There were no aces this week. The ace pot now stands at $76.

Once again we had threat of a nasty weather, and once again the clouds parted just in time for a very pleasant round at Orchard Park. 39 players enjoyed the dry weather and very little wind this week.
This weeks team to flirt with a perfect round was Eric Painter and James McMillan; just missing the birdie on hole 7 to finish -17. Steve Ellis and Jason McGrew were right behind with -16.

A small group of 37 players enjoyed a dry and pleasant evening with light winds at Orchard Park this week. For the third week in a row we had a team toy with a perfect round. This week it was Stephen Sines and Brody Cannon who settled for -17 and the win. Dave Zimmerman/Dave Clement were right on their heels with a -16 and four teams shot -15.

The threat of nasty weather kept attendance down again this week, but 40 players enjoyed calm and dry weather this week. Things heated up as Paul Compton and Crist Garcia toyed with a perfect round but settled for -17 and the win.

We had our second full house of the season this week - 54 players enjoyed clear and calm conditions. Luis Nava and Justin Sikes enjoyed it a little more than most, shooting -16 for the win. Three teams tied at -1.
Luis also aced hole 2 and grabbing the $52 ace pot. There was much speculation that hole 7 in the short position would be aced several times, but although it gave up a lot of birdies (38), nobody could get the ace to stick.

We had our nicest weather of the year - warm and little wind - and the scores really reflected that this week. Steve Ellis and Jared Fischer were one putt away from a perfect round, settling for -17 to take the win. Two teams finished at -16 and five teams at -15.
We finally had our first ace of the season. In fact, we had two. Bobby Mackall started us off with an ace on hole 4 and Jason Hicks followed up with an ace on hole 3. The two teams split the $152 ace pot.

We had 52 players this week. No Aces were hit, so our ace pot will start at $102 next week. With another full week, the ace pot will be over $150 for week 3.

Sorry, I can't hold spots. I take sign-ups until 5:45 and we try to start as close to 6:00 as possible. Some nights we reach our maximum of 54 players by about 5:40.

We had a full house this week. Clear skies and wind in the first round but calm for the second half of the evening.
Hole 9 was a hot topic of conversation this evening with a tight OB circle around the basket. Players either loved or hated this hole: There were 22 bogies, 7 pars, and 25 birdies. Eleven teams birdies it both times while six teams bogied both times.
