9/20 Goldenrod Start Time 5:00p.m.

Sunset is at 7:34 tonight and it will get shorter and shorter each week from her on out.

Also, the park rules state that the rangers close the park at sunset. Sometimes they do it right at sunset, sometimes later but we have also seen them come early so 2 1/2 hrs should be just enough time to play, do payouts and get out of dodge before the man comes.

Goldenrod Doubles Fall Start Time 5:30p.m.

Reminder that Goldenrod doubles is being bumped back 1/2 hour to 5:30p.m. It's that time of year when we lose daylight from week to week a lot quicker.

Dangerous Weather Rule Amendment

Ok, after thinking about it a little more than we did initially it was decided to make an amendment to to the League Rules, which are in affect for both Goldenrod and Holly.

If a league round is canceled in the middle of play due to bad/dangerous weather, those who placed a bet (paid $5) are already paid for the following week ONLY not a week of your choosing. This includes ace pool. The bets of those who were at the canceled round who can not make it to the following week will be added to t ... more

Ok, after thinking about it a little more than we did initially it was decided to make an amendment to to the League Rules, which are in affect for both Goldenrod and Holly.

If a league round is canceled in the middle of play due to bad/dangerous weather, those who placed a bet (paid $5) are already paid for the following week ONLY not a week of your choosing. This includes ace pool. The bets of those who were at the canceled round who can not make it to the following week will be added to that weeks payouts. Anyone who comes the following week who were not there or did not make a bet treats the week like normal.

If an ace is hit during the round but the round is canceled and not completed the ace pool does not get paid out.

*So if you paid last week @Goldenrod and you come out this week you are already in.

Weather delay

usually when there is weather like we had the other day, i would sound an air horn and play would stop. we would wait fifteen minutes and resume should the weather be done. I did not have my air horn (although i think the sirens were sufficient) that day and for that i am sorry, i saw that most of you got off of the course and left anyway. The weather rules are posted above in the "About this league" section of the page i hope it clears up any confusion anyone has about what happens in this scenario.

Goldenrod Doubles 5/3-Fall Start Time and RR Crossing Update

Beginning this Thursday 5/3, Genesis Goldenrod Thursday Doubles will start at 6:00p.m.

*Remember to sign in by 5:50p.m., hole/partner assignments by 5:55p.m., to your hole and tee by 6:00p.m..
*This will be the start time until sometime in September.

Also, the railroad crossing is done. They finished it last Thursday or Friday so no detour.

Genesis Goldenrod Thursday Doubles Time Change

Starting next week 5/3 we will be moving the the start time back an hour to 5:55.

Make sure to sign in by 5:50, hole/partner assignments and walking to holes by 5:55, tee at 6:00.

Goldenrod Detour on Irish in between Court and Davison Rds.

Just a heads up.... They are finally fixing the railroad crossing on Irish in between Court and Davison Rd! It is closed down until they have it fixed which shouldn't be more than a week or two.

Until it is reopened you will have to detour around it. Keep this in mind when planning travel time for league. The detour is not bad at all. It might add 5minutes at the most.

*If coming from the east on 69 get off at M-15, go north and then left on either Davison, Richfield or Coldwater b ... more

*If you get off at Irish the detour is not bad. Take a right(east) on Court, about a mile down to Gale. Left on Gale down to Davison Rd. Left on Davison down to Irish.

As most of us know this rr crossing has been TERRIBLE for a few years now and has gotten to the point that even when you come to a complete stop and roll over it can still mess your vehicle up. It is almost to the point that it is swallowing cars whole.

So before cursing the detour keep this in mind the next time we drive across it. It will be nice and smooth and cause no car injuries.

We need someone to run it this week!!!!!

My car is out of commission for the next few days, and Jones has to be at work, so we need someone to step up and Run Leagues this Thursday, all you will need is the standard playing deck to do it the old way for a week and We will need the scores after all is said and done. Please let me know if you are willing to do this. Thanks!!!!!

This week and probably the next 2 or so we will be walking to our holes at 4:55 sharp and teeing as soon as you get there.

The walking to our holes at 4:55 means we have all drawn and been given tee assignments so you will need to have your name on the sheet no later than 4:50.

Registration and Tee off

BE EARLY!!!!! We will be leaving to tee off AT 4:55 so be there early to register so we can get started right quick. If you're late, sorry you won't be playing.
