West Fork is a mostly wide open course, that offers a lot of air shots, with a good amount of elevation that comes into play on most holes. This course rewards controlled shots that stay in the fairway. Off the fairway is longer grass, so keep you eyes on your shots so you're not losing discs in the rough. There are some really thick bushes and a ravine that run the length of the course, avoid them at all costs. Tee signs aren't accurate on at least 1/2 of the holes, UDisc seems to have the ...

Relatively family friendly, and the tall grass is getting down trodden, so most shots are pretty easily found. If you wind up in the creek area, some of the draws, or just in the thick brush, you can get lost for a bit. Plenty of longish throws (300+) and some nicer short shots that reward good control.

Grass it still tall and there's plenty of yucca and cactus so watch your step.

Good open course with some challenging hazard play (all sidewalks and beyond play as hazards) which helps mandate accuracy of shots. Hard read as some long holes play really short and vice versa. Wind is a factor. Not as many technical shots as I would prefer. Need the ability to boom to stay competitive.

Ok, West Fork is not an A disc golf course. It's a B to B+. I say A in order to offset the F that was given by the first of all 8 or so reviews at this point. I look at ratings for West Creek and Fehringer and see that other similar muni courses are an A- and this one is a B or B-. That's just incorrect. It's better than those. The tees are excellent, paved with signage and shoe scrubbers. Often there is mulch on the greens. Both short and long baskets on all holes save one. This is an elite ...

Well maintained course with lots of elevation change. It plays along a gulch with a little stream running through the course. Longer course than others in the area & busy every time I played there in March & April of '22.

Not friendly for a novice (most shots over cactus fields and hidden behind trees and hills). Definitely not dog friendly. Decided to try the course because it's new, walked away with a $62 ticket because I didn't want to drag my dog through the cactus field to retrieve my disc. The town has a Park Ranger posted to specifically ticket folks who let go of their dog's leash. He even apologized after giving me the ticket. Won't be making the mistake of going there again.
