This course would get a higher rating from me if two things were done. First better signs that show how the course flows and next the old baskets. I know that the baskets are part of its uniqueness but they have out lived their use. Keep one for nostalgia's sake as a practice basket.

Nice course on a former (?) campground that has nice homemade baskets. Layout is a bit confusing to first timers but manageable. We had an issue with people having a picnic in the fairway of 12 so be careful of non-dg'ers. Kudzu was brutal in spots.

Tee signs have been repaired as well as basket markers on each basket. Since these were some of the first 2 chain sets, the local club may never replace. There has been lots of recent clean up work done A+ shape as of 3-31-16

Very nice course, uses makeshift baskets however. Don't throw a disc into the kudzu or it may be gone! Lot of trees on your sides and in the course.

Pros:
- Good Baskets and concrete tee pads.
- Well maintained park grass - forgiving for beginners and short arms who land short (or just wrong, LOL).
- Has a decent variety of shots and slopes. Alternative basket placements help variety as well.
- Can play quickly as there's not much walking between holes.
Cons:
- Longer arms won't have too many opportunities to air it out (only 12,18)
- Intermediate/Advanced players may not be challenged.
- Parking lot is a little close on hole 3 - B ...

A historic Alabama course so old school in its look and feel, that you'll think you arrived at the course in a DeLorean.
PROS:
+ HISTORY + From what I've been told, this is the second oldest course still playable in Alabama after Brahan Springs. Originally an object course in 1976 which obtained baskets in 1983, the 4th perhaps to do so in Alabama. The baskets are still from 1983 and are still in great repair, which is a testament to the area's American made products at that time.
