Valley View has many positives but a few glaring negatives. A great course for beginners, V.V. is primarily an obstacle based course of par threes. Elevation changes(in winter part of the course dubs as a sledding hill) lead you in and out of the woods which surrounds the titular valley. Multiple pin placements add depth to the relatively simple course.
On the negative side this course is usually quite crowded, by result of which the state of the course varies day to day. It can be the most ...

Good course just never shoot there after it rains can turn into a swamp

course isn't the same since they changed some holes and it gets insanely crowded with pigs hiding behind trees

Course is short but very technically, do or die style. First hole drops down a hill making for a fun shot, winds through the woods from 4-11 and comes back out in the open for a few more open shots but still with plenty of small technical shots. Holes 16-18 play around the back of the parking lot and are open with a blind shot on 17. Course overall is very nice and well groomed fairways but with very tall ragweed which grows on most of the course, you WILL pay on the open holes if you don't h ...

Concrete Tees, but they are small. Nice mix of short/longer tees. open and wooded. Marshy swamp in the middle. Very busy most of the time, but play is steady

Tougher than the distance would seem to indicate but you can still win a round with just a putter.

has a few really nice holes for terrain up and down hill and some good wooded holes only one distance shot , some new pin placements have uped the challenge a bit . The current course pro is really trying to better this course a lot ( thanks Mike you rock ) and league proceeds are going to the cause . Still advise going at odd times to avoid the crowds when not playing league here. Better still play the league to show your support !!

short fun little course. Has its challenges. Real Ace Race course!

This course is really short with some technical shots. I wish every hole was 70 feet longer. There are very dated signs but very new and nice baskets. People that I played with said it is sometimes very muddy but I was very lucky to not play on a muddy day.

Quality course, love the layout/design. The reason why I rated it only a B is because the course needs new hole numbers and some arrows to direct while in the wooded holes. I know my way around the course, but for someone that's new there they could easily pass 3-4 holes without even knowing it. Also 1,15, and 18 baskets are not up. It would be a real shame if they got rid of those holes because they were some of the best on the course especially hole one.

Winter layout is nice change of pace to this course. packed snow and ice around baskets make the baskets extremely low to the ground.

Fun and easier. I got my 1st ACE here so good memories.. Rather play here than Root River but when it rains look elsewhere.

Fair amount of technical holes. Not a fan of the concrete drive going through a hole and near another. Good overall course for recreational and up. Beginners will struggle a bit and I see a lot of people looking for errantly thrown discs.
