John "Doctor Disc" Fleming 41 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Personal Best! #1 short position, parked a Roc3. #2 PD2 hit a limb but parked the upshot. #3 parked a Stalker. #4 Roc3 15 feet right, hit the putt. #5 Prodigy D1 just short and my 18 foot uphill birdie putt over the palmettos hit the rim and fell back. #6 Boss 10 feet right and made the putt. #7 D1 15 feet right and made a good putt that had to go tall over the palmettos. #8 squeaked a D1 through the gap and ended up 15 feet long but made the awkward straddle putt over the palmettoes. #9 parked a Thunderbird. #10 parked a Boss. #11 D2 nearly pin-high and 35 feet deep in the palmettos, but made a great putt over the whole mess. #12 parked a Roc3. #13 Wraith drifted just to the right and nicked a tree, so I had to lay up. #14 threw a Blitz 40 feet short in the woods and had to make an awkward anhyzer upshot leaning back. #15 D1 15 feet short and made the putt. #16 D2 25 feet short but made the birdie putt. #17 Thuderbird just nicked a limb and ended up 20 feet to left of basket but made the putt. #18 D2 to the base of the hill and 15 feet right, and birdie putt just missed."Thursday, May 7, 2015

John "Doctor Disc" Fleming 42 - Regular tees, 18 holes "#1 long position, champ boss 10 feet right and straddle putt around tree = birdie. #2 parked a pd2 3 inches behind basket = birdie. #3 stalker 20 right and straddle putt around tree. #4 proto prodigy d2 4 feet right. #5 original position, prodigy d1 hit the last tree, but parked the upshot. #6 original position, prodigy d2 hit the flowers and stopped 30 feet right, putt just missed. #7 original position, put the stalker in the palmettoes just short of the basket and made the awkward putt. #8 original position, prodigy d2 drifted o.b. but came back in about 40 feet short and I laid up the putt. #9 champ thunderbird 2 feet in front of the basket, made the awkward straddle putt. #10 champ tern cut around the corner to 12 feet and I made the putt. #11 inside passage to about 25 feet short of the basket, couldn't make the difficult putt through the trees. #12 in B position, threw a buzz to about 5 ft left of the basket. #13 wraith hit a tree early and kicked far left, and I had to toss a prodigy d2 on a severe hyzer to get through the trees and skip up to the basket. #14 threw a stalker 15 ft short and had to make an uphill straddle putt through the trees. #15 left position, got bothered by a biting fly as I threw a wraith, but the disc made it through the trees on the right to about 50 feet short, then I made a blind hyzer putt with my back to the basket for a birdie--putt of the day. #16 long position, threw a wraith through the gap to about 20 feet right and short but hit the straddle putt for birdie. #17 tl3 slipped through the trees long and just missed a very narrow 25 footer. #18 pd2 20 feet short and left on the hillside, drained the uphill straddle putt to tie my record score. John "Doctor Disc" Fleming 44 - Regular tees, 18 holes "#1 long position, champ boss 15 feet right and straddle putt around tree = birdie. #2 parked a pd2 4 ft behind basket = birdie. #3 stalker 30 feet left and 10 feet short but made the putt. #4 proto prodigy d2 15 feet short, made putt. #5 original position, prodigy d1 hit the tree, but parked the upshot through the trees. #6 original position, prodigy d2 was 15 feet long, and I left the putt short. #7 original position, parked the stalker under the basket. #8 original position, prodigy proto d2 thirty feet short and near the b pin, but I angled a putt around two trees for birdie. #9 champ thunderbird 10 feet behind the basket, made the awkward straddle putt. #10 champ boss 40 feet short and behind the trees, had to tomahawk the same blue boss and parked it. #11 inside passage all the way to 15 feet short and right of basket, made a tricky straddle putt through a narrow gap for birdie. #12 in C position, threw a tern through the narrow gap and wound up 12 feet past the basket, made the birdie putt. #13 tern 30 feet short, missed the awkward straddle putt around the trees. #14 parked a stalker for birdie. #15 tern hit a tree on the right, upshot with a buzz was short, but I had a backside straddle putt to make par. #16 my flow hit a tree on the right and kicked left and my upshot went 20 feet long, missed the par putt. #17 tl3 pin high and 20 feet left, made the birdie putt. #18 pd2 40 feet short, uphill putt went high, settled for par."Thursday, June 5, 2014

Here's how it went:
Conditions: Wet from yesterday's rain. Some standing water. Breezy. Mid-80s and humid.
Two-throw warm-up because a couple of guys were about to tee off.
#1 Boss flicked and parked 4-5 feet to the left, just behind the closest tree. Birdie. -1.
#2 Boss flicked too low, caught the grass before it flexed and wound up 150 feet short. Tried to hyzer a Teebird but caught a tree. 50 foot putt missed. Bogey. Even.
#3 Teebird 10 feet short and right. Birdie. -1.
#4 Boss around the trees, 12 feet short and right. Birdie. -2.
#5 Boss flicked between the last two trees, 16-18 feet short and left. Birdie. -3
#6 Wraith hung out too far right and caught the swampy grass 40 feet right and a little long. Putt bounced off the right side of the cage. Par. -3.
#7 Teebird in the front palmettos 5 feet short. Birdie. -4.
#8 Boss through the gap and 15 feet short, behind the tree. Straddle putt for birdie. -5.
#9 Boss flicked too low and caught the grass only halfway to the basket. Amazing 140-foot putt to the center of the chains. A record round needs at least one lucky shot, and this was mine. Birdie. -6.
#10 Boss flicked and just barely caught a high limb but floated through the gap and wound up 6 feet left of the basket. Birdie. -7. A little lucky. At this point I'm thinking a record is possible.
#11 Prodiscus driver (Legenda?) to the gateway, 20-25 feet short. Putt hit the yellow chastity belt. Par. -7.
#12 Teebird 5 feet left. Birdie. -8.
#13 Boss caught a tree on the right and kicked left, 40 feet short. Putt landed right. Par. -8.
#14 Teebird caught the very last bush on the left and stuck, 5 feet short. Birdie. -9.
#15 Wraith laser-straight down the gullet to the raised mound of palmettos 5 feet short. Birdie. -10
#16 Buzz GT floated 15 feet long. Birdie to get to -11.
#17 Boss--just trying to focus on keeping it straight but stiffened up and caught a low bush halfway to the basket. Anxious putt avoided the trees and parked beside the basket. Par. -11.
#18 Boss aimed way left to avoid light pole and parking lot--playing it safe. Upshot with putter looked short but skipped forward to 4 feet left. Par. -11.
Entire round took 40-45 minutes. I was -11 for the 14 holes from 3 to 16 and even the rest of the way."
