My new "home course". Astro turf tee pads w gravel underneath. Some need to be flattened out as turf gets bunched up at the end of the (short) pads (#12 is 1 of them) which can affect your run up. Remember, you go over and back across the bridge 2X's while playing TriV. Couple mandos including a double mando tunnel shot on #16 that is fortified. There’s a drop zone if you miss. I like the challenge of the woods shots. Some tough wooded finesse shots. #15 in my opinion is the toughest hole on the course. It has a narrow window into the woods and if you get passed there there are a bunch of trees you have to get thru. It's a crap shoot b/c if you can get to the "creek" 1/2 way down the fairway it's still another equally difficult approach shot as the drive, I don't think I've taken a 3 on #15 ever. There are open holes as well that give it variety. Be careful walking from #15 basket to #16 tee coming out of the woods. There are at least *5* small tree roots cut low that you can roll an ankle on. Be careful! This course is new and there are *many places you can roll an ankle. #5 has a water hazard to the right of the basket. This course can get wet and muddy. Watch out for puddles. There are divots in the grass and small cut down mini tree stumps as well as balls that you can roll your ankle on/in (as mentioned).
This course is quickly growing on me. I really like it a lot. Have birdied #1-3, 9, 10 & 14 so far. Try to get a Turkey on Holes #1-3!.... if... you... can.
Short and long tee pads. Collie w the biggest yard in town all to him/herself on #12 and horses fenced in w barn and pond on #18. Beautiful place.
