Robert Adams 49 - Regular tees, 18 holes "New PR! Usually get my ass kicked at Thomas, today everything felt great. Think I beat my PR my 15 strokes, haha."Saturday, February 21, 2015

Jon Tveite 65 - Regular tees, 18 holes "I was in Salina for the annual Land Institute Prairie Festival, so I gave Thomas Park another try. The results were about like usual: lots of bogeys and double-bogeys. I do enjoy many of the holes on this course, but others are frustrating and some are just annoying. #14 is the worst: I'm sorry, but the fairway of a 425' hole shouldn't just stop midway to the basket, leaving you to pound and pinball your way through a wall of small trees. I missed a number of putts I could have made early on (#s 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7, as matter of fact), so I should have shot better. If I played it more than once or twice a year, I could probably develop strategies and improve quite a bit, but random chance will always be a big factor on a course like this."Monday, July 8, 2013

Robert Adams 67 - Regular tees, 18 holes "I don't want to post this, but I'm doing it as a reminder to myself of how inconsistent I am, and as motivation to work harder...but this is disgusting."Sunday, June 30, 2013

Robert Adams, doubles 57 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Went to Salina's doubles league, got partnered with Rod. I'm pretty damn happy with +3 at Thomas park any day..."Friday, March 15, 2013

Jon Tveite 70 - Regular tees, 18 holes "This was my first try at Thomas. I enjoyed it, even though it can be long at times and brutally technical. I hit a lot of trees and my score reflected that. I was not throwing especially well. I let the trees get in my head. Too many 4's and 5's. There are some really nice, memorable holes, though: #2, #4, #11."+11
Jon Tveite 65 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Austin and I decided to go around again, and I definitely improved. Knowledge of the course probably helped, although there's only so much that can do: you still have to make extremely exacting shots. I was throwing with more confidence and precision, especially on the back nine. Made a couple birds this time, and only one 5 (but also a 6, unfortunately). I look forward to trying this again."
