Course reviews

pretty decent little course hole maps are nice no real teeboxes tho most holes are very short with lots of trees so it caters to the more technical player rimmed off a ace on 4 but all the holes are aceable if u can somehow manage to make it through the trees witch are in abundance and scattered about with no real direction also the holes do little jogs everywhere not hard to navigate because they have signs but still annoying

Josh Russell gives a spot on course review so I won’t reiterate what he stated. Ron Crichton has posted really nice pictures of the course holes. Great makeover and redesign. Has all the tlc and bells and whistles necessary for a short, fun and surprisingly technical course. Park in the lot at the 2nd entrance if the gate is open, otherwise start on hole 12 from the front entrance. Probably is a B+ course but I have to give it an A- due to the tlc and hard work on the redesign!

Course is pretty much brand new, but has potential to be a solid course. I heard they were putting in a full 18 next year which would be great. A few holes need grooming especially those in the woods and a few hole signs and or tee pads should be moved.

It is a new course. was a bit underdeveloped. but with more traffic and "Course Maintenance" it could be a really nice course. and has plenty room for expansion.

You can forget all previous reviews. Course just got a major makeover and upgrade. Course now has 18 holes with longs and shorts.. Teepads are spiked down, huge, 4 X 10 wall carpet. This is awesome stuff! Freshly painted chainstar baskets. A great mix of holes with 6 out in the park and 12 wooded holes. This course now has a beautiful landscaped and elevated basket with death putt.4 single mando's for safety and fun. Several water hazards. 2 exiting risk vs reward double mando's. An ace run hole ...

Very nice course with a mix of wooded and open holes. A little shorter but fun to play!

The fun factor on this course is top notch. Mostly shorter, even from the Longs. Lots of short ace run holes with wooded and technical, tight gaps and 4 or 5holes in the beginning and end that play through the park(but have cleverly placed baskets) and a couple holes over 300. Theres a nice creek running through the course and a few double mandos and a cool triple mando. Any skill level can have fun playing here.

Ok. So, te layout of the course was great. Very good use of the property. Good mix of woods and open shots. Some of the distances are mismarked, but that's the least o my worries. Minimal traffic, good signage.
Now, it seems like someone didn't feel like putting the time into the wooded holes. The lack of fairways is discerning, especially when you apprroach the basket, and realize the basket could be moved back and the fairways opened. I understand having holes 150-180 in the woods, but the ...

i don't know if htey moved some shit around since i was last time but it seems like the course got a lot worse to me. they really need a lot of work done to the course some of the holes are just throw and pray you make it farther then 50 feet. some fairways are only a 15 foot walking path wide and scattered with trees. i dont know what the hell they were thinking. i want this course to be nice i grew up less than 3 minutes away from the course and it upsets me that the did such a crap job!!!

needs pads some nasty roots on a few holes, looking alot better tho.

This course just opened, It still needs a lil brush and a couple trees cut down on a couple holes. Has potential could easily be a B+. When you pull in the 1st hole is on the right over the ditch.

Needs a LOT of TLC. Tons of vandalism, trash & overgrowth. Also, navagation sucks. Read new review dumbass!!

Played the course today has a little of everything short and long holes the wood is challenging.

Many of the tee signs are much to close to the tee area for there is only dirt, a few signs I feel were right where I wanted to tee at so I hope they move them a few feet..The course needs some more work done to fairways and paths between holes it could be a bit smoother walk between holes.. When you walk off nine you have the possibility of getting hit by a disc coming from 15 for the basket is literally 3 foot off the path you walk so keep your eyes open and to the right, same with coming off ...

The weeds need trimmed badly, had a rough round today.

Good course overall but the wooded holes really need to be cleaned up badly

Way too many trees in the fairway, but it makes up for smacking a tree every other drive by having some pretty short holes

It's a pretty cool course, but it is in need of some up keep. There are some tree stumps and roots sticking up, no official tee pads, and there are tons of thorny vines and bushes if you accidentally throw your disc into the woods to look out for.

I personally love this course. When I first played it I was pretty hatefully towards it but it was definitely grown on me. It is definitely the most wooded course in the area and has all types of shots. The problem is that it almost seems like the township has given up on it. I know the designer and he is no longer on the park board so he has no idea if it will every be truly done. I hope so because this course does deserve better

This course does need some TCL. It is difficult to navigate and some of the basket placement is questionable. Further more, there is quite a bit of vandalism. With all that said, this course could easily be a B+ - A- course!! All it needs is mulch placement and a chain saw and some hard work. The short technical shots are fun, and there are longer shots too let it rip. Its a cool park, and not too far from Frankenmuth's disc golf course.

I Love it. It is rough around the edges but so am I. And I sure hope they don't clear any more trees.
+0 votes Ryan Schilling › Old course › September 2, 2018
Just needs a little work around the edges but in all a good course to play. Overall a good course for most any player.

Very much improved over last layout. Played the Reds today. Don’t let it being Red fool you, still tough lines to hit through narrow fairways. The carpet tee pads are a bit lumpy, but nice enough. Could use some leveling out. Signage throughout the course is great. Obvious that some much needed TLC was given to this place. Nicely done, to all to contributed.

This course is fun to play. Mostly shorter holes, but there is landscaping, islands, mandos, woods holes and open holes - it has a verity. The new layout is fun.

Very solid technical course. Always a fun time playing this course. You get a choice of either long tees or short, would love smoother pads though!

Fun, but poorly maintained. Hard to figure out which way to walk to next tee pad on some holes. A couple of the holes have literally no line, you just throw and hope you get lucky. I'm all for technical shots, but no line whatsoever is too technical. You are playing in a swamp except in the fall, when it finally dries up. The holes in the field are designed well. With some work, this place could be really nice.
