Doesn’t look like any one uses this for this course, but I’ll try anyway. Do I need a 4x4 vehicle to get to this course?

Wife and I played this course yesterday for the first time. The Sucker River comes into play and I lost a good disc to it. Warning- been an avid river trout fisherman a long time..don’t go in after your disc..the real dark color could be three feet or nine! Nice course! We live in Curtis, it’s close by! And 1 more positive comment! BLUE BERRIES slows the play down! Yum!

Is the course on H-58 before you get to the Sucker River?
Take School Forest rd off the highway north. There will be a small sign that says Superior Pines Disc Golf follow that to the left. The Sucker river runs through the course. Enjoy, it’s my fav

Staying at Lilly's on The Lake in Curtis and plan on making at least one trip up there. Checking in on Saturday, just in time for Oktoberfest in Curtis!
Silver Mountain is less than.an hour away and well maintained
silver mountain is actually closer to 2 hours away but they BOTH are great courses
It's only 50 miles from 117, Engadine. Isn't Curtis like 20 minutes away from there?

I'm going to be playing here tomorrow. I'd love to play with some local discers!

Hey Jon, I got to Grand Marias this evening. Found out where the course is-went out and did the first 6 holes-ran out of time. Wiull do whole course tomorrow. First 6 holes were fun. I plan on checking out your Grandmother too. Ha Ha, that doesn't sound right. I mean I will go to the Brewery and meet her.

This is a brand new course that is set to officially open on July 30th 2011. Although the course is open and ready for use, it is still a little in the rough, so bring some close toed shoes and pick up a few sticks as you play. So come and enjoy the Upper Peninsula’s first professional quality disc golf course!

Directions: Enter Grand Marais and head East on H-58. After 3 to 4 miles, turn left into the School Forest and then left onto Superior Pines (road before the bridge). Park past the chimney and look for post hole #1 and our coming soon trailhead kiosk.
No there’s a dirt road that turns into a 2 track. It’s a little bumpy in spots. Take it slow. Great course in the woods. Check out Lake Superior Brewery in Grand Marais
