Course reviews

This course is only going to get better. The back 9 in the woods are awesome. Permanent baskets are up on all holes, tee pads are in, tee signs coming - this course now becomes a must play. Alternate pins on all holes.

Fun relatively flat course with three pin positions per hole. Many shots over top of trees which will slowly start disappearing as trees mature. lower gaps should beat in well by then. Well rounded course with many deuce opportunities. Tees signs are great and show which hole layout you are playing so its easy to follow.

Pros
Very fun and challenging (back 9) course. Great mix and variety throughout. Brand new baskets catch great. Very nice piece of property.
Cons
Signs dont have distances or accurate hole descriptions. Tee pads are sand/dirt. Some back-tracking in the layout. Quite a few holes on the back 9 need some extra trimming/clearing.
If you are in the area you should play St. Francis. I wouldn't drive over ~30 minutes to come play here quite yet. After concrete is poured, the course is groomed more and signs are updated this course will be a must play.

St Francis had a nice mix of open holes with obstructing trees and bushes as well as some fun woods holes that demand accuracy. Make sure to bring your bag of tricks! Cement pads and benches make this a complete course and a pleasure to play. Make the trip for sure.

It's not bad. Lots of tree holes, not many chances to open up and drive though. It's a good technical course.

This course has lots of potential and is only getting better every year

New review for 2017, the course is in great shape! Well groomed and brush getting trampled. open it up to take high risk shots that will pay off on the right line. Hole 1 and 10 have cement and rubber temp pads i think the rubber was put down for people who do bot have a hyzerflip. Holes 1 -18 have 3 pin placements that are. moved during thursday nigh league. Hole 9 and 16 have 4 pin locations. Front 9 plays nice easy to stay close to even. Depending on pin locations. Back 9 plays through a sm ...

This is a really fun course. I would give it an A- if it had some hills and better chains. But other than that, it has a little of everything and plays fairly for lefties and righties and forehand and backhand players and has opportunities for thumbers and tomahawks. A great place to play if it has recently rained due to the sandy ground. The addition of T-pads is great also.

every time i come back here, i am more and more impressed. They keep making it better and harder with the 6 pins they moves into alternate positions. If this course had cement pads, it would be a straight A, also... if they wanted they could make it a 24 because i think they have more land there somewhere

I really like orangeville in the fall time. Alot of trash out on the course.

I put an A cause I think it will be a great course once it gets tee pads and touch up. Besides that love it, it has a little bit of everything for everybody.

It's a good course.
Plenty of hyzer, Plenty of anhyzer
Lots of sidearm shoots, If you can't sidearm hope you can put a good anhyzer on it
Was told by someone the first nine are open......maybe. It'll depend on your defination of open. It is open but it's no brewer open. The back nine is tighter than the front nine.
Most of my shoots, had a couple different options to throw.
NEED BETTER SIGNS!!! Was able to figure out were to throw (sometimes had to walk out to figure it out ...

Tougher course but fun to play. Will be much better when it gets signs and tee pads.

Very fun and underrated course. Isn't very long but the use of obstacles was great. Semi open at the beginning then works its way into some very tight woods, need to have accuracy and some distence to shoot well here. Overall a very good course

This course is a lot less populated which makes for a quite round of disc

This is overall a great course. The land is well used, and gives you a lot of variation. They have the ability to switch up basket locations on most holes, which makes the course even more exciting. It will have you switching between discs quiet often, but you will most likely land on a mid-range for the majority of placement shots. If you want to play a fairly technical course with beautiful scenery, this course is a great choice.

My impression with this course is it's a work in progress. There are nice new cement tees for the first 12 holes and then nothing but dirt for a few and then the last two have some old concrete as well. It seems like they're improving it as funds become available. The front 9 or so have some young plants, tress and cacti that could really turn into some great obstacles once they mature. As you get towards the end of the course you enter a thickly wooded area that makes for a whole different type ...

course plays well, but most holes are lefty favor, a good thumb-er or flick comes in handy, back 9 is pretty wooded> bring putter and mid game
bring a spotter or play in group as almost all holes play blind, and some with very small landing zones surrounded completely by brush

Sweet course. Never too crowded. 2-3 alternate pin placements per hole make for a new challenge every time you visit.

Great course, tee signage for active pin placement could be better - some are accurate while others are completely missing.

Nice course, surprisingly difficult. Only gripe is the pin locations can be hard to find. Looks like the community really cares for the course. Definitely worth checking out at least once. Can't wait to play in the winter!

This course presents a lot of challenge, and use of different throws. Ran by really good people. For only a (recommended) dollar donation to play, how could you go wrong? Definitely worth a few extra bucks to play.

This place is great. Concrete pads, alternating baskets, hole description at every teepad with what basket you are hitting with. Plenty of spots to sit. Locals are nice. Front 9 is open back 9 woods. Only reason it didnt get A+ was I wish the baskets would change a hole lot more. Besides that, I'd drive outta my way to hit up OV's DC

Super tight fairways and greens. Most holes are around 250 feet. Flowed well with no signage. No elevation changes. Looks like it gets played a lot. Most holes feel the same, but it's challenging because it's so tight. I'd play it again.

Can't see the baskets, just you throw it the right way. Needs a lot of clearing
+0 votes Ryan Milka › September 3, 2020
Really enjoyed this course. Fun technical shots but also some opportunity to rip some drives, even on the short pins. Unique set up having three pin locations per hole!
+0 votes Jack Zimmerman › June 15, 2021
Course is deceiving, signs like there are multiple baskets but only one per hole.
+0 votes Ronald Dugdale › October 15, 2021
This course is a must play and you will want to be back. From the beautiful scenery (Pine trees and Cactus in same place) to the basket placement(s)< Yes the baskets get moved from time to time so make sure you know where your headed on any given day. Lots of different shot selections to be had here. Enjoy your time watching the disc fly!!

Couldn't find most of the baskets while playing a hole, throwing blindly. When I was done with a hole, most of the time I couldn't find the next tee pad without walking in circles. Some baskets didn't even exist..

Alot of clearing and defining the lines needs to be done. It was a fun course, but also kinda felt junky and poke and pray shots.
-2 votes Wade TF › October 9, 2010
great pin locations. back 9 has original lines and great obstacles. fun course. CART FRIENDLY course!! met up with a group and they had disc golf carts. rode for 14 holes. this course needs donations for baskets and concrete/flypads. come play and donate. dubs at noon on sundays. bring a basket if you have one.

i honestly dont know why people like this course even more so with all the great courses around that are likely closer too you or not a big differnce farther i dont know why youd shoot here... some of the holes are okay and some are just plain dumb and theres no hole here id get excited about shooting... save your dollar... shoot oshtemo or blue gill instead
