This course absolutely rocks! By far one of my most favorites. Very challenging and will test your accuracy. A great mixture of shots in both short and long. There are even several baskets hanging from trees. There is some hiking involved so bring plenty to drink. The course does take some time to play due to the terrain and length of the course. Many elevation changes with uphill and downhill shots. On hole 27 you are throwing off the edge of a cliff 250ft to the basket below. How cool is that! This is just an awesome course so go check it out now!!!

One of my favorite courses in the nation, great signage, tee pads and the wonderful Spearfish Canyon at 4,000 '. 27 holes with 9 alternate holes, upper (tee 21) and lower putting baskets, picnic tables on each hole, 10 trash cans on course with two porta potties near tee 1. Bring plenty of water and be prepared for a great 3 mile hike!

Awesome course with great signage and picnic tables on each hole. Hole 12 has one of the nicest views, which there are many great views on this property.
There are 2 putting areas, one on the bottom and one up top by hole 21.

Just played this course once and will never again be able to visit SD again without playing it. The pictures don't do it justice: the elevation changes and the scenery of Spearfish Canyon are so much better than can be shown. The course doesn't seem to have a lot of parking and I only saw one other player, but it is so well put together and maintained that it looks like there must be a good sized club behind it. Maybe there is, I don't know, but anyway, my thanks to those who care for this co ...

Great Course. Lots of elevation. Active course maintenance by dedicated club. A few hanging baskets. Destination course.

This course has come a long way since the first time I played it in 2015. Great work being done here. Looking forward to the next time I play here.

Great course with challenging shots. Great guides to next baskets. Only downside is the teepad is not cement. Multiple different basket locations, which gives the course a new challenge ever switch.

Only thing keeping this course from an A+ is the turf tee pads. Really fun and well maintained course. Multiple hanging baskets and elevated throws. Would recommend boots as it’s a pretty good hike getting around.

It is home field advantage for me. I play this course often so I am used to it. It can be a technical course, as well as a bomber course...it depends on where the baskets are set. The tee pads are astro turf and it is a nice hike while you play. I recommend water and good shoes.
