Slightly better than I expected, but the lack of baskets and tee-off pads make this course a different experience.

I was excited to hear Sandy Pines had a disc golf course. It's located in a multi-use park (playground, tennis courts, beach adjacent) which is often times filled with kids who don't know what disc golf is and it's very likely they'll pick up your disc if you aren't paying attention. There are no tee pads but they do have nice metal signs with distance and a vector drawing of approximately where the pin is (They over-emphasize turns but most baskets are easy to spot from the tee). I feel the lack of baskets here is a little disappointing. The course is short but well thought out for the space that is provided. If there were permanent Baskets and Tee Pads, this course would get a better rating. Good beginners course.

It was a fun little course to work on your putting and different styles. Nice importunity to experiment.
