Please read the details posted by Red River. But add that even the easier 'Front 9' is a good test of your game and athleticism. If you bring LOTS of water, very strong shoes, and a couple 'Beater Discs' for long downhill shots, you will have a blast. Strongly suggest getting up there early if there is any chance of lightening, which is common in the afternoon. Playing with 'A Local' is good but not necessary. Note: The chairlift is a full half hour each way and hurrying through this course is unthinkable. So 'Big Red' is a full day's adventure from the Abq area, but highly recommended. The Chair is only open during Summer and a very few late spring/early fall weekend days.
