One of the best flat courses I've played. Costs five bucks to get into the park.

there is a bunch of pollen flying around and alot of flies and dried foxtails which is really annoying but still a great course

Nice manicured park with a few water hazards. Many large oak trees provide hyzer opportunities. With short tees most holes are birdiable to an experienced player. However the long tees are very long and technical with obstacles!!

I realy enjoyed this course. The course is set up on a very nicely thought out park. Mostly grassy with scattered oaks. The fornt 9 played much easier than the back 9. The last 7 or so holes head toward an open fiels across from the main road. This open field gives the wind a chance to gain momentum.
Pros:
Well maintained grounds
Nice baskets
Multiple basket locations on each hole
Plenty of parking
No rif-raf
Cons:
Front 9 are very basic

Gold course - Love the layout and the feel of this course. I will certainly be back to play more often.
Purple course - love the layout of this one as well. More technical shots needed to play around the trees. Will be great when the weather warms up for a dry course.

There are 2 courses here - each one 18 holes. They are known as the Gold Course, (Course 1), and the Purple Course, (Course 2). We played the Gold Course. We had a very hard time finding the first tee and had to go back to the parking attendant to find out where it was. Then, from there, we frequently were unsure which basket we were shooting at. We, definitely both shot at the wrong basket on Hole 6 and found later that the hole was really a hard hyzer to the right. One nice touch was tha ...

Love this layout for sure. Open course for the most part. love what the Windjammers have done to make this a top notch course in the area.

Great to have an additional 19 holes to play along side the Gold course. This one is a little more technical and not very forgiving when you have a bad drive. Much more precise shot needed to save or make par. Great addition to the area.

I believe we played this course on 3/4/2015. We felt that this course was definitely better than the Gold Course. The only problem was Hole 15 was missing a basket. It turns out that they have created a Hole 15A to take the place of Hole 15. We played on a beautiful day during the early afternoon when it was nice and quiet. This park contains a big lake where you can rent boats and there are a lot of geese walking around ...

Longer than the gold course which play to my advantage.

Fun fairly relaxed and level course, couple of holes near a busy road, comes into play if you were to reaaaally shank one.

Course is rarely maintained or switched up. Heard there was a problem with the local DGC and the maintenance guys at the park. Most holes are pretty long so if you can throw 450ft or longer it can be fun but for most people who aren’t avid golfers this can be frustrating just playing every hole for par.

two courses in one area? Awesome and yes please. I prefer the Purple, more grass, fun shots. Fewer Geese getting in the way. Oak Grove is great

Great challenge, good mix of short and long, forehand and back, open and wooded. Well done to the local club
